Has it ever been considered that the XP/Gold Penalty system for death be removed and it would just cause a player to respawn in say ... the temple of Tharon for instance or someplace similar?

At this juncture, with Dasaria 2, we are in a position where it can't really hurt us anymore than we already are. It may be argued that MoTB's installation cannot adversely affect Dasaria's population, and indeed, might contribute to it (at least, that is what Ebannon's argument seems to be).

What are you talking about? Thrall's Gate is all about NPC Clutter with a few cows and bloodthirsty bears nearby.

As was said, stop fighting MOTB. The argument that this will scare off new players has been disproven by the statistics... the most populated servers are MOTB compliant.

People play multiplayer games because they want to play with other people, when the server is empty I just log off.
