Re: Biggest Problems with Dasria

wow - great to see Explorer, Sabre, Wired and stoned Raiser still here?!!??!?!

Might have to kick up Maug or Mad and see what this dark elf fuss about...

ehehe...

Sounds to me like this player should be encouraged by the DMs to profer up a plot line that engages with the setting to give meaning ...

factions

I reccomend that what the Church of Lochwar needs is a faction within the faction..

Powerful overwhealming strong factions often splinter when no strong external threat is present.

A priest to slowly work against Minuvas and usurp his role FROM WITHIN.

Surely even this would be fun for Minuvas in ...

LOwer POP

Well, if its helpful to the DM's.. I love Cear the world and the players i met there (mostly)... but heres some feedback, please I do not intend this to seem as a negative tirade, I think Dasaria a wonderful place. I offer this up to be helpful to the builders in terms of the debate on reduced ...

Actually came back today solely to see if CD was around, because although I love Das, Vass is what i missed the most, how good was that street slang/pigeon eng?!?!?!?!? . Taking extreme measures is useful at times, but i would say...

Mon da Oth: *chokes and opens up Rhodes inventory* "At least as far as my character is concerned the money sinks in place appear to be working for him, but if you have a regualar playing group I can see how such wealth can be acquired." I have to agree with Mon on this point... while I know there ...

alas

Please dont let this thread deteriorate into... "dont nerf wands"... i believe all chars should be able to get a wand if they want....

The general point i was making was about ALL flavour of Dasaria. Even just they way we talk about items. About roleplay ideas...

great

Thanks to Coruscadragon for some great suggestions. And Dubs? for trying to implement.

Especially the Umd idea. I do think though because of the nature of Dasaria (as Exploere points out), especially at the higher levels, there would have to be an automatic char level factor. SUch that a fighter ...

too much magic? lexicon

Sorry i know the thread got closed. Well it was way off topic.

But i missed out on my twenty cents worth.

I personally find the magic much higher than i orgianlly hoped when i started playing Das. I mean to many casetrs, to many potions, to many wands, to many charms, and the quests creatures are ...

wormtongue

'Mad' is certainly a close approximation to the offspring of Wormtongue and a female version of Gollum.

And I'd like to add that if Vass (coruscadragon login) had lived there, then geting the ring to Mt Doom would have been a breeze ;-)

cackle indeeeeeedy, scrawl and nibble.

Why does Roggins find dead rats floating in the ale barrels in recent weeks?

What is the smell around Ealdens stall?

Why are so many corpses bought to the cities graveyards fingerless of late?

Are those the runes of Culnul scratched into that tree?

There is one gnome in town who wonders not.
