Wyvern is absolutely right. I have two characters exactly the same level.. One can solo the relevant level areas without a problem.. The other struggles without being in a party.(Thats the one I enjoy playing the most)

It baffles me what Obsidian where/are actually aiming for, they've pushed a lot into the single player which is nice. But the single player was poor on NWN in my opinion, I can't really see that anyone would be influenced to purchase NWN2 if they had played just the oc's from NWN.

It would be interesting to see a few alternative endings to quests rather than just the heroic/goody goody endings. Then if someone is playing an evil aligned character they can choose to do the "wrong" ending :). So not just herioc endings.
