A small note in a clear script posted on the noticeboard.

To whom it may concern,

I am seeking one learned in the art of enchantment to help as my tutor and master for a time.
I am willing to pay tuition, or perhaps provide assistance if there is something I can help with.

In return, I would like to at least walk away from the deal with knowledge of how to make an elemental resistance spell permanent. I have gathered some ingredients that I strongly suspect are relevant to the job but been unable to combine them into a stable enchantment matrix. I feel I am close to a breakthrough, but am missing some crucial piece of the puzzle.

Mori notices the faded old handbill as she comes in for her daily visit. She ponders aloud,
"This migth be what I have been looking for. It's a long shot, but worth a try."

She writes down the contact details and leaves the Inn in a rush.

Late in the evening a small woman, whose stature is a bit smaller than most typical elves, wearing a thick robe that reveals only the snowy locks of hair that flow out past her hood, approaches the bar on her tip-toes. She mutters softly to the barkeep, ordering a glass of wine before she makes her way over to the fireplace. She glances out towards the center of the common area, as if looking for someone, before sitting down on the rug in front of the fire, sipping her wine quietly.

The huntress regularly cases the Mistyvale; it's a part of her game trail now. Abandoned plates and unsupervised bread baskets go missing, again. This time she leaves something behind. A note:

With some ceremony, a large chocolate cake is delivered to a certain gnomish resident of the Mistyvale Inn.

The rich frosted layers of delicious hazelnut and brandy mix are topped with a large sugar doll.

Judging from the proportions, it appears to be a female halfling, although the fangs sticking out of her mouth are rather not stereotypical racial traits. She hefts two long daggers menacingly, and a round hat tops the very crunchable head.

The figurine is touched up with edible paint, mainly in blue.

Having caught wind of the fantabulous cake, Tilly rushes to the inn to have a look.

"My nose is too big," she comments, seeing it pass by on the way to the Gnome's room.

ADVENTURERS WANTED FOR EXPEDITION TO RAVENWOOD TOWER.

The Adventurer's Guild is looking for ablebodied men and women to join an expedition to the Ravenwood Tower, near Ravenwatch.

We will meet tomorrow in the afternoon at the Mistyvale Inn. We will spend a short amount of time discussing the expedition and getting to know one another, after which we will teleport to Ravenwatch and move on to Ravenwood.

Profits will be split evenly amongst all who help us map this area and tower.
