I don't know if it is actually broken, but when you reach the door that has the inscription Speak sorrow....
Couldn't get past it, killed everything at least 3 times over. Tried tinkering with all the switches.

It's not bugged, you actually have to talk to the door and say a keyphrase.

It has worked every time(twice) for me, maybe you were saying the wrong word? It worked in Common, as well.
