muletang .. you seem to be a man after my own heart. I can't get enough music in any shape or form, as long as it speaks to me in some form. Metal has been a standard of mine ... Iron Maiden to Opeth and Mastodon. Sublime has been a goodun to me as well. Electronic music was a big part of my life for a long number of years and keeps me comming back ... gotta love roni size. Toto ... and most people think they were a one hit wonder. Men at work anobody?? Of course the classics stick .. ones that speak to damn near everyone - Stones and Bob friggin Dylan back in the day ... byrds and such (although his new album licks some giant elephant gonads). It's all a mood thing i have to say. But I digress ... as anyone should .... *mumbles to himself and trails off*

With the exception to Moby Go and a few others there have not been many named that I like and I have never been an MTV person.

I spent most of my teens and early twenty raving and clubbing my arse off, so most of my favourite DJ's and tracks will be unknown by the masses here.

At the moment the music I listen to generally changes to suit my mood e.g. when the bills come in or a do my budget DJ Rap it's good to be alive, a Chemical Brothers album or a Prodigy album is never far from reach.

There is generally a group of friends of varying types round mine so I never know what I'm going to be listening to. I try to catch Pete Tong, Judge Jules and a few other sessions on Radio One but most of the time miss them and have to switch off when Westwood because I find him a real depressant.

Hybrid; unfinished symphony is a track for anytime of day though.

Step to the rhythm made outta brown paper
Check check check check, hehe

man I love anything from Rachmaninov's 3rd, Grieg's 5th, Perr Gynt to Sepultura, I saw DJ Rap at the Cooperhage in Plymouth 1997 with Andy C and Mickey Finn, was a big grunger back in 92-96, was drum'n'base clubber (the Heltah, the Skeltah!) all the way through and a load of mates had guitar based bands so rocked out on them.
Anything with a groove gets my approval and usually added to my collection - don't care how old or how new or how in or how underground or main stream or whatever - if it puts a buzz in me boll*x it works for me.

Just picked up Toto live in Amsterdam. Awesome stuff. :D

They do a great cover of While My Guitar Gently Weeps which was a surprise to see on there, aswell as a Steely Dan song. Rosanna is particularly breath taking when they kain that out, but the best would have to be the opening medly that ends as Childs Anthem segues into the coda of I'll Supply The Love.

Awesome stuff.
