Exploitation reminder

We have an exploit going around. I am just about to ban the first person caught abusing it in a moment, and we are now logging to catch as well as establishing measures to block this exploit from being abused.

If you value playing on the server, do not exploit. There will be no warning and there will be no discussion if someone is abusing the system.

What is an exploit?

Exploit Definition: Taking advantage of a shortcoming of the nwn engine or a loophole/mistake for gains outside of the scope of normal player progression or fantasy context.

Damnit.... Now I'm curious as to what this exploit is and what it does. When it's fix could you tell us? I like reading things that are horrible but can't be done anymore.

I know only two real exploits on the server. The one with the high level charactrs being able to complete lower level quests and a low level player joining high level party, so the party could get 2x more experience.

Not sure if you're kidding or not, given the smilies (i think, that last one looks kinda weird), but experience scales with the level of the party members. Adding a high-level character will reduce the amount of XP, adding a low-level will increase it. That's the way it's supposed to work.

Also kindly DO NOT POST (or hint at) EXPLOITS. PM a DM if you're legitimately concerned about something.

Considering my characters just run low level quests or just stand around and RP, I think I'm safe from any exploits. But, if I did figure any out, I'd probably report them to a DM, which I hope anyone would do so they could get corrected.
