Can player Avitars be radically changed?

Ok - whole topic - LOL

thought it might be an interesting "curse" for a character plot line. Say you want to RP having offended a god, so the god turns you into an animal/monster/undead for a period of time, after which you change back to normal.

A long time ago in a PnP game, a friend of mine was running a cleric of St. Cuthbert. Another friend of mine, the rogue, got himself a donkey and named it St. Cuthbert. This, of course, let him get away with saying that "St. Cuthbert is an a.s.s."

Changing the avatars is not a good idea. Personally, I would dash such idea aside.

For those with animal fetishes .. get a familiar?

I all ready have a cute little spider that somehow can cast spells.

(I haven't figured out why yet..)

Isn't that one of the cutscene tips? A familiar can cast any spell it's master can...?

They can cast any touch spell and any buff I think.
