Your first mistake was assuming the manual is accurate. Believe me, it's not.
I'm always right. I'm also a jerk. It's not my fault you can't get over the latter to see the former.

Hurray for Me!

The manual may well say that. It's wrong as often as it's right.

Lorcann - "BACON!"

Indeed. As stated in my edit I checked the SRD after making the post and found out that, unfortunately, the dexterity requirements are 15, 17, and 19 respectively.

Weapon master req: intimidate 4 ranks, BAB 5, weapon focus, dodge, mobility, combat expertise, spring attack, whirlwind
get 7 levels of WM for increased crit range and multiplier
I would recommend greatsword (I consider 15-20x3 to be better than 17-20x4 simply because greataxe crits tend to be overkill, but as you know, all dwarves were born with axes in their hands)

Frenzied beserker req: non-lawful, BAB 6, cleave, great cleave, power attack
get 5 levels of frenzied beserker for +20 damage from Imp. power attack 2h weapon

If you want dual wield, go ranger, 6 free feats by level 11
two-weapon fighting, improved two-weapon fighting, greater two-weapon fighting, toughness, evasion, track, animal companion, spells

Remember you can get all the two-weapon stuff even with 10 dex ranger! so you can save the points for STR,CON,WIS (though, 14 gives +2 AC)

Red Dragon Disciple req: 1 level bard, 8 lore
get 4 levels for +4 str +2ac,
or 10 levels for +8 str +2con +4ac blind-fight immunity paralysis, fire

Rogue: 32 +4*int skill points at level 1, disarm trap (+5 ranks set trap), search;
You can continue to gain points in Appraise, Bluff, Craft alchemy, Craft trap, Craft weapon, Diplomacy, Disable device, Hide, Intimidate, Listen, Lore, Move silently, Open lock, Parry, Search, Set trap, Sleight of hand, Spot, Taunt, Tumble, and Use magic device as if they were class skills with the feat able learner.
By level 14 your rogue 1 /fighter x can have a disarm skill of 19+int+gloves, and search of 17+int

Yes, but you can only wear light armor...so your dex is still going to be ridiculously important unless you go for some sort of mutant high wisdom ranger/monk build.

It is important but ONLY for AC (and reflex).

And rememebr, Chain shirt is light armor
Rangers can cast cats grace
that's 18 dex +4 from armor = +8 AC without having to spend extra 2 points dex to get up to the 15 required for improved two-weapon and a crazy number of points to get the 19 required for greater two-weapon fighting

When you level up, the Ranger with 14 dex, can increase STR for more damage and attack bonus, or more WIS for more spell slots, even CON for more fortitutde and Hit Points.

I prefer to spend the ability points where I get the most advantages.

Dex: AC, reflex
STR: Damage, attack, carry-capacity, knockdown DC
WIS: will save, spell slots
CON: Fortitude, Hit Points

Dual-weild Falchions.
all the dex required for TWF feats will nerf your STR (forget ranger levels, those are for pansies), and therefore your AB, and monkey grip + dual weilding heavy weapons means even less AB (AB is bad, btw)!
Add to that the fact that you can't use a shield and you got yourself a pretty uber build! :D

Odd, because a ranger with dual wield falchions actually has 6 attacks / round at level 11, even with only 10 dex.

A pure fighter(or other non-ranger) gets only 4 attacks / round

Feel free to correct me if I am wrong.
Yes, it made it into NWN2. But it's called "Monkey Grip".

Monkey Grip just allows you to wield weapons one size category bigger at a penalty. Nothing to do with dual wielding.

If I told you, I'd have to kill you.

No, seriously. Bastard swords are really shiny, aren't they?

I think you should specialize in Scythes: the 5x critical means that you can do AMAZING damage at times; have you ever seen Scythe-specializing characters? It's crazy. Plus, I can finally get rid of a Sythe +3 I tried to sell a while ago...
Characters: Soltis, Garrett, and William of Aucklorn.

Here are a few of my weapon master/fighter builds

Skythe master - High STR and CON, good INT, medium DEX:
Human FTR1/Wiz5/FTR1/Weapon Master7/EK6 Might and Magic right there, Caster level 10, quickened true strike, improved power attack, 17-20x5 critical.

Falchion master FTR6/WM7/FB7 The stats work out so that it beats a Bard1/FTR4/DD10/FB5 Dwarf, which is an overused powerbuild.

Kukri Master 12 FTR/ 7 Weapon Master Tiefling is good (You can take 11 int and get a free bump to 13, and then get insane dex and use finesse.)

Rapier Master 6 FTR/7 Weapon master/6 Duelist Tiefling uses the INT bonus to AC and gets a maxed parry score so that those riposte attacks deal nice critical damage, and when you want to push hard you can haste.

Here's one last build that uses a greatsword, you take 1ROG(Stuff)/12FTR/2FB(Supreme Cleave, Toughness, Rage)/5 Divchamp(This gets you divine stuff) This build grabs called shot, disarm, improved disarm, knockdown and improved knockdown. Take out their arms and legs, knock their sword away and smash em to the floor. Great thing for killing other warrior type enemies.

The skythe is difficult to do right, because you have low HP and you can't expect to hit without true strike. If you haste, bull's strength and run up there, with a quick true strike you can do up to 200 damage in one shot, but it means forsaking great cleave and taking improved power attack instead.
If you go FB with a skythe, you can use something like that falcion build and take skythe instead, although 13-20x3 is way better than 17-20x5.
