Kenshin removes his armor, shield and sword, setting them up in a corner of the temple aided by one of the young priests. He then dons robes and goes down to the river. Kenshin then washes and with two young priests is followed back into the temple. There he is ritually cleansed and given new robes. Kenshin then approches the newly set alter at the head of the temple, and offers praise and glory to Goddess Peralia, She who first gave him purpose, and She whom he raised this temple for. After offering praise, Kenshin sits before the alter and in silence offers himself again in prayer. His armor, shield, and sword after so long and after so many battles now sits silent as does it's master. The Armor and shield that have taken countless blows from hundreds of Cainites, hundreds of Koalisks, countless bandits that still speak of Kenshin like a nightmare, and giants that still shudder as the name of Kenshin. The sword, a Katana known as the Burning Blade, rest now on a stand, too has gone silent. In the hands of a swordmaster this katana has felled almost every beast and being across these lands. All these sit silent, as do thier master. But ......for how long.

Kenshin offers praise to Peralia and offers the five rubys one for each of the past days spent in silence. These five rubys sacrificed, to please Peralia with this gift. With a bowl of rice a day and water to drink Kenshin has grown somewhat thin, but his mind and body has become cleansed and his warrior spirit calmed. Kenshin so offers up the sacrifice of five rubys to please Goddess Peralia. "My Goddess Peralia." Speaks Kenshin, the first words he has spoke in five days. "My Goddess Peralia, I Kenshin, your servant offers you these five rubys in thanks and praise to you. I pray that this offering pleases you." One of the priest takes the offering and places the rubys in an offering dish on the alter before the likeness of Peralia. Kenshin begins to chant prayer and praise to Peralia and awaits Her presense upon him. Kenshin awaits Her will and Her word. Kenshin awaits the purpose She holds for him so that he may serve Her still.

He sleeps for an entire day and awakes to a hearty meal. Within a day he has regained his strength. Now the armor, shield, and sword which has sat silently for two weeks seems to almost smile at it's master as he draws near. Kenshin runs his hands over the armor, feeling the scratches and small dents remebering every blow from beast and man alike. Kenshin then lifts the armor fitting into it again, once donned he lifts his shield again, remebering the wieght of it. Now in a final motion draws his sword, "Ready to go old friend?"
