Test if your machine can run NwN 2

That's it! I ordered a card today! After much soul-searching I went for the nVidia GeForce 7950gt 512 mb. As I hate playing new games with graphics that look has to look worse than games from a few years ago to achieve a decent FPS, I hope it'll be able to run NwN2 close to max settings. The only thing I'm worried about is my 1 gig ram.

storm that card will run it on max with 4XAA and 6XAF on rest mode

and yer id upgrade from 1Gb of system RAM

Perhaps I'll be able to strike a bargain with my brother and exchange one of my 512 mb sticks for one of his 1gb. He never plays any games anyway.

That's what I thought, Evelond is American, so would use US prices, so it wouldn't quite be the so called outragous $95 for him. But since our dollar is rockin' lately, it would probably be still around $60 or something.

That's what I thought, Evelond is American, so would use US prices, so it wouldn't quite be the so called outragous $95 for him. But since our dollar is rockin' lately, it would probably be still around $60 or something.

I quite agree, with the first part of course. Our English is terrible, but I like our currency better. And it is SO much easier to understand Farenheit than Celsius. But I'll stop semi-rambling now so as not to derail the thread.

But metre sticks beat yardsticks everyday.

Rrrrrrright. Is Farenheit actually based on anything? Celcius is based on water (Freeze = 0° boil =100°) Farenheit is based on absolute zero (When molecular movement ceases i.e. -272°C or −457 °F).

Farenheit? Who knows.

On Topic - Glad to see so many people passing after all. Are these the minimum specs or the recommended edit- that you people are passing?

You can test on both minimum -and- recommended. I'm happy to see that my laptop still will be able to take more then the recommended settings. Whii. <3

That's quite the rig you're expecting there. Even the mouse is top notch, hehe. I know it's a bit of a taboo question, but... how much? That piece of machinery can't come cheap.

but my mastercard $950
then im spending about $180 on cooling

around $4100 total
