I played the original Ravenloft module back in the 80s. I remember our party's paladin tried to kill my drow. My chaotic evil henchmen and I chased him into that lawful good only room. We couldn't enter, so we bombarded the room with oil flasks and fireballs. Thirty years later, that paladin is still my best friend!

Also, Ravenloft was a major influence in creation of Leopold Von Bruhl.

Also also, Chris Perkins is the best: Curse of Strahd.

There is a New Character Event just started on Ravenloft, so it's a great time to get into the server and be amongst 60 odd fresh characters, any of you got any closer to getting NWN1 to work?

I noticed that the server got spammed by bots, so asumed this place was officially retired but now they're are gone... Well... What's the hell happening those who are still here, found any new games or server to call home?

That would be me. I still check in on the forums and clean them up where I can.

For me right now I cant get into another RP server. I think it will take some time. With all the time I have invested in Dasaria, it is difficult for me to fill that void. Much like losing a loved one.

Perhaps in the future though, I will keep it in mind.

I'd have Dasaria over Ravenloft any day of the week however, Ravenloft fills the void that Dasaria left, a good thing about it, you can have your characters from Dasaria come to the realm of Ravenloft, which opens up some really interesting RP as the lands of Ravenloft are unforgiving and cruel.

Ahhhh, the memories of Dasaria. Some of the finest moments of gaming I've ever had. The nostalgia of going through the forums. Even Das1 forums. My heart belongs in Two-Bridges.

What's everybody playing these days?

I've been trying all kinds of games for short times. Tried Elder Scrolls Online for a bit, FF14, some classics on emulators like Grandia and Lunar 2. I keep trying to get back into online games as much as I did Dasaria, but it's just not the same. It's kind of odd to play with people who rp really over powered things, like insanely over powered.

I got Divinity 2 for Christmas for mini-Wired and I, going to give that a try in co-op.

I have gone back to play FPS mostly. Battlefield 1 and recently Sniper Elite 4. And Eve Online sometimes.

I got my friends and I into pen and paper DnD. About to finish up our first campaign, the one I run, and move into another where I will play the franchise Paladin Roland McDoland.

Very cool! There seem to be more than a couple of Dasarians who've picked up pen and paper since we wrapped up d2.

I was playing NWN1 for a bit but soon lost interest after being busy of recent, picked up a PS4 little while ago, so been smashing that pretty hard.
