The passing level 20 bug is no longer exploitable, as NwN2's level cap is 20, so I don't see where this is going.
I think he is talking about those who have remained at lvl 14 to enter the tower even though they have enough xp to lvl up to 17 or so. Maybe a script on enter that eliminates all xp in excess of that required to reach your next level. This would keep anyone from saving more than 1 level worth of xp.
I really find this to be a despicable, dishonest practice.
. . . stopping this from happening, or doing so in the first place?

well i think this is a good idea, as people are leveling up by the easier quests to far over the level of that content, so i'm all for wyvern to add such a script.

people just want to play. My char is near 14 now and I don't want to stop playing him when I get there he is my favorite nor do I want to just stand in town all day long when I log him in. A script to get rid of excess xp would work for me.

Wouldn't bother me one bit and I would accept the cap on exp without any complain.

can't we do something that notices when you have reach the lvl up spot (ie: when you go ding and glow and the button comes up in your character sheet) and then you are considered to be the new level regardless of taking the lvl or not? Seems like a means to stop the practice dead (yeah, I ain't got a clue about scriptin).
I don't mind people not being able to enter it when they are too high they make the area too crowded anyways. *bolts the door*
Hehe, or hows about making the last room where you have to do the main thing for the quest a one way door, and the only other door takes you out of the quest, at least then the overcrowding would be down until the next reset

(disclaimer - This is not a demand. I know the devs have oodles of stuff to chrun through from building to holding the hand of whingers like me.
I don't feel any shame, I won't apologise
