Actually any subrace with an ECL can make lvl 20 in NWN. Just takes them damn longer.
Only way to change that is to set level limits manuualy, but then you'd have have to take off the xp restrictions to balance it out. (In other words they can make up to say level 16 for a Sniv, but took the same xp to get there for each level as a Human.)
Otherwise you've now made that snivf, the equivalent of a level 12. (4 levels for the xp required, and 4 for the cap restrictions.)
Other then that. Moon elf all the way. There is not such thing s 'plain' elf in FR (This is not LoTR). Glad to see Obsidian at least glanced over the FR book this time. Now they need to ad more to the Humans form the FR campaign. There's heaps of variations depending on where they hail from in Faerun.

Deep Gnomes, or Svirfneblin, are not evil like other races encountered in the Underdark.
Although, thier appearance might get them grouped in with the rest of the Underdarkies.

Roleplayed conflict is always a lot of fun, but a lot of it comes down to both the individual players involved, and the characters they are trying to represent. Does your LG Dwarf have an ingrained hatred of any particular races? If so, then it is fine to express this through your roleplay. Is he apathetic towards them? If so, then once more, that is fine. I cannot dictate how any one character will react to another, because it is primarily driven by the character's personality, and the alignment will be an indicator of the nature of certain aspects of the personality.
Drows are typically a race feared and hated by surface dwelling races. In the original campaign they were declared Enemy of the State and were not allowed in any of the villages or towns, and the guards attacked them on sight. Currently we don't have the mechanisms in place to handle this. Which means it is down to the players at this stage of the campaign. If you want to wage a war with the Drow, you would have the support of the staff as long as it was done in a mature manner, was initiated through roleplay, and griefing was kept out of the equation. PvP is always an option in this sort of scenario and as long as all parties adhere to the server rules, this also is not a problem.
Hope this helps.

You don't kill them on sight (assuming your character knows anything about the races in general). Note, this is not the same as trusting them, wanting to associate with them, or thinking they stand a chance at redemption.Kazak wrote:How do I roleplay the good part when I run into the Underdark race then? PS: Sorry, kinda new to the RP
