I've yet to test it as well. I'll be sure to check it out tomorrow night.

We are not entitled to anything.
You ungrateful individuals should be ashamed of yourselves. I bet you would complain if someone gave you a hundred dollars because it was made up all of ten dollar bills.
Grow up you @#DW(*&%^( brats.
Such negativity.
Take a chill pill, man. Are we entitled to anything? No. Are we expected to praise everything that comes our way? Nope.

Chimp, I think Mon's point wasn't so much that we should praise everything, but we should thank the DMs for their contributions, as they are using their time to give of things that we have asked for. Are they exactly what we asked for? Perhaps not, but we should give them the benefit of the doubt and try it before offering critique. Critique based on nothing is worthless, because it has no basis on reality. Now suggestions after using it, are another story, and are usually welcome as far as I know.
But yes, thank you Wired for using your valuable time, which I know is spanned over multiple projects in game, not to mention your real life obligations to family, friends and work, thank you for using it for us, the player populace so that we can have more enjoyment out of the fabulous world we find ourselves able to play in. I have yet to try it, but I look forward to seeing it in action, and offering any suggestions I can come up with if I see any.
And in-case Wired wasn't the only one that made it, thank you anyone that helped make the Scrying tool available.

I figured it out. Yeh, it's definitely worth considering reserving your critiques sometimes. I think the tool works fine and it's fun to do little math/logic problems to figure out who is where and what lvl they are.
Though, what does it mean when it says that characters are "elsewhere."

I'd guess they are outside of the quest hub.

Checked it out for a short while yesterday early, very cool.
Thanks DM Staff.
Btw, I'm entitled to pizza in any and all forms.

I think we should do the camp fire sing along now.

Dwarves don't sing, we gurgle beer and grunt obscenities.

ROFL, relax, killers!

I was just pointing out that Cythis should check it out before starting a big debate about something unrelated to what went in.
The quest hub scry is an OOC thing and you can access it off the player rest menu. It tells you how many players are in each quest hub and the average level of PCs in that hub. It's supposed to make it little easier to find friends to play with. 'Elsewhere' is anywhere that can't be associated with a hub, e.g., PCs in event areas, PCs in transition, players entering or exiting the module, etc.

Hey Wired, I guess I should have explained it better on my part. I knew what you were talking about, but not exactly how it was implemented. My experience with scry tools are device you start out with in your inventory, similarly to the DMFI tool. But I guess it really doesn't matter how you interface it, if people like it then Hoo Ra!
My only idea was if you could make such a thing stationary in game. Okay, time to get back out, Killers! Damn where the Debees?

I agree.
And, as a side note, I haven't been in game for like 2-3 weeks (school -really- sucks sometimes) ... but I'm sure the new thingamabob is groovy. Thanks Wired!

Now that I have tried it, the Scrying tool is great. Last night I was standing in North Cear (Where most people hang out to RP I find) and saw only 1 person around. I checked the scrying tool to find that everyone was within Cear, this helped lead to a group of 4 of us adventuring for a bit.
