although i don't usually play healers i still want to give you two thumbs way up on this one. having said that my love curses loudly everytime the "wait a minute to rest timer" comes up because Tana needs time to recharge after saving my buttKensai wrote:1) The ability to rest after practically every fight, severely hampering the utility of healers.
P.S. Wonderfull server so far. Thanks for making it.

I tend to agree on this one as well. I think it would encourage more role playing when you need healing and a healer runs by. Or vise verse, actually offering healing to someone.Kensai wrote:1) The ability to rest after practically every fight, severely hampering the utility of healers.
I run into that situation multiple times, when I see someone in fight and their health is low, by the time I run up to them to heal em, they finished the fight and rested to full health.
Being a level one rogue or wizard and having know where to go with your 3-6 hitpoints apart from the jaws of a wolf... make some easier places. My rogue has sneak attacked, hide and ranaway himself up to level 3 and its been stupidly hard... I dont mind it being hard or taking time. Its just frustrating seeing a fighter easily cut his way through and steal all your "running shooting hiding" kills.

people complaining about a little pickpocketing OOC and dragging up the rules/pestering DMs, kinda ruins the fun of an epic chase and potiential wanted notice.. getting kicked out of town for a while. xD
a good pickpocket knows the rules and RPs his part well to add some more flavour to the server. Instead of yelling theif and trying to kill them maybe RP an arrest.. ack I dunno. I know I'd be up for it if I was caught ^.^

Wanting to kill the thief is just as legit as trying to RP an arrest.ColdToes wrote:Instead of yelling theif and trying to kill them maybe RP an arrest.. ack I dunno. I know I'd be up for it if I was caught ^.^

I don't want to see any "epic" quests, I'd rather the quests were simple jobs that people need done or commissioned by the watch to clear out a nest of goblins.
But no, We need to bring the chalice of the Rianian elven kind back to the sacred home of AHSdhaHE! Before the dark forces of EEEEVUL!! come.
I personally think that if we are going to have some sort of major epic thing happen it should not be something you can pick up by talking to a random citizen on the streets. *shrug*

I just want to add, that its usually helpful if you actually -see- the item being stolen. If you just accuse someone (me, him, whoever) of stealing because the person is a rogue (which you can now tell just by the leather armor they are wearing).. you'd better be prepared to do a bit more RPing than that, at least with me. If you just PK me because you think I'm a thief, you'll get nailed. That's nothing more than just griefing.Stormknife wrote:Wanting to kill the thief is just as legit as trying to RP an arrest.ColdToes wrote:Instead of yelling theif and trying to kill them maybe RP an arrest.. ack I dunno. Thats what I mean... sorry I wasn't to clear. I mean like someone looses an item and just attacks you as your wearing leather armor (yea it was you, but the pickpocket was undetected)I just want to add, that its usually helpful if you actually -see- the item being stolen. Its hard enough on rogues as it is staying alive without being randomly PKed.
(though if I was caught, yea I'd expected to get a whoopin xD - the risk is half the fun)

Aye. If you see them steal something from you it is okay to kill them. If you THINK they stole something your best chance is to chase them down and RP accusing them. Who knows? you might get something back.
