I just noticed Kadmiel doesn't have one of these!
Little is known of Kadmiel Greywolf before his arrival to the port of Cear. Growing up as a foster child to a lonely old man in the streets of Gulashir, Kadmiel learned most of the lessons in his life the hard way. A thug and a bully, Kadmiel made his - and his supposed parent's - living by using his intimidating size to prey on the weak.
Although a small-time crook in his youth, Kadmiel of Cear portrays a distinctly different persona - that of a man of faith and valor. The reason for this change is uncertain, but it is often said that life on the road changes a man, and whether that applies in this particular case is anyone's guess. Using what he learned of swordplay during his long travels from Gulashir to Cear to help whenever and wherever he can, Kadmiel has, over time, built up the reputation of a knight or a paladin - of which he was neither.
Hearsay, however, often has the tendency to become the truth. These days, Kadmiel is a part of the Argentum Vigilo, a cabal of knights in service to the crown prince Siril II and sworn to protect the people and the roads around the Cearian peninsula. Nonetheless, this status is tenuous at best - the founding of the Argentum Vigilo is not seen favorably by most of the empire's "power players" - be they the Magnus Order, the temple of Lochwar, or the Imperial Legion itself. Allegations pertaining to heresy and betrayal are abound concerning the Argentum, and only time will tell if this organization remains standing to serve it's ultimate purpose.
Faythe Rastana – the name of this moon elf and one of the only things she can remember. Not that she seems too worried about her past as this young elf lives in the present and appears to love life. Her eyes shine a bright shade of blue and are striking with her pale skin and dark hair. Though she is a highly social being she does not care much for conformity and will go where there is something fun, exciting or profitable happening. Her preferred means of earning money is through performing arts, as she loves to sing, dance and act (and sometimes write her own material). With this money she likes to buy clothes, clothes and more clothes – admiring those who have good fashion sense. Being young she is very naïve and not the brightest spark. But what she lacks in intelligence she makes up with enthusiasm and energy.
But is this all she seems? Waking up in the wilds just outside of Cear, she was nearly claimed by the wolves and only just escaped with her life. Sometimes scattered memories plague her dreams and she often finds it hard to sleep – especially being alone. To help her clear her mind and cheer herself up she resorts to spirits, but upon meeting her you would most likely just take her for being an extrovert as she makes sure that her drinking is hidden – without drink she struggle to be the person she wants to be.

Wayward wanderer from the far lands of Anjiro, the land across the sea, on the other side of the world. Born with blond hair and green eyes it was always said he was born for something special. The thirteenth son of a simple nomatic merchent Kenshin formally Akatsuki, "Dawn" was found by a great sword master Takeshi.
Master Takeshi declared that he would train young Akatsuki but the boy needed a name becoming of a swordsman, and so named him Kenshin. As was tradition the now young Kenshin forgot his family name and devoted himself to the sword. As the boy grew to a man and began training with the katana. When Master Takeshi decided Kenshin had learned all he could, the young man was sent out to wander the world and find his purpose.
In time and in strange lands, Kenshin happened on a dark place. He was attack by a hoard of undead and fought them as masterful as expected but there were far too many. He was overrun and the undead took him. As he slipped into death he heard a voice speak to him, "I am Peralia. Awaken." As he awoke from death itself he found himslef in a lighted field laying next to a peacful graveyard. He stood and looked around him, as his wanderer's spirit drew him toward a place unknown to him. Kenshin followed the call of his spirit which eventually brought him the Cear.
While there he again heard the name of Peralia. He leard that she is the benevolent Goddess of Death, and it was she that saved him. Kenshin sought out Peralia's temple and found that there was none in the entire land. Although he learned that many priests would offer worship at the graveyards. So, Kenshin went to the graveyard in Cear, knelt before Peralia's likeness there and offered prayer. Peralia sent to him her Red Crow, showing that she was pleased with him. There he understood now what his purpose was to be. To raise a grand temple to the blessed Goddess Peralia.

Alaina-Monday Knights with DM Wired
Into the dwarven forges deep within the stone, he was born. Into the life of a smith, by blood heritage he was submitted. This is how they defined him, Orion, the smith. A stout lad, the boy was, even as a youngling, he showed much promise in bending the metal to his will. Be it steel, silver, rock, gold, it mattered not. It always did what the boy wanted it to do. Day after day, night after night, the lad worked. Swords, armour, shield, he created, one after another.
His father was proud of the boy that looked up to him, like any good boy does look up to his father. He taught him all he knew. How to melt the iron, to cool it down in the cold waters. How to hammer it, to bend it, and finally how to pour your very soul into it so it will turn into a mighty piece of art. Orion heard what his father told him, taking it all in, storing it into his head.
In these unknown forges, many of Orion's relatives lived. Unknown to the world, except for the special few, who travel into these hidden places, to find the most priceless weaponry, armours, shields. This is also the place where Orion spent his youth, and even a portion of his adulthood. He wanted nothing more. He had no desire to see the world. He had no desire for acts of bravery and valour. He wanted nothing more than to listen the stone. Listen how it spoke to him, whispered to him, told him what to do with it. This was also the place where he would have lived his life, and eventually have died.
This was not the case tho. Gods had other plans for Orion. Thus they threw a catastrophy to befall upon the forge where Orion worked and lived. This catastrophy came cloaked in shadow, and death. This catastrophy they call the dhaerow, the illythiir, the dark elves.
The forge was destoyed and looted. All items were stolen, every dwarf was killed. Except the most gifted ones, that were taken in as slaves for the dark race. Orion was one of the lucky ones, or unlucky, how you may see it. He wasn't taken in as slaves, and he wasn't killed either. He was left there, perhaps the illythiir didn't notice that the young man was still alive. Because when Orion woke up, he saw flames around him, the forges were destroyed, his blood relatives laying on the ground, hacked to pieces. Everything was taken. Swords, shield, spears, amours, everything. Curing the gods, Orion took, anything he could find with him and climbed out of his mountain. This was the first time he ever came away from the shelter of the dwarven forges. He looked around him with awe, and fear. How could he survive in this place. How could he live, without knowing anything about anything. All he knew had died inside the mountain. NOw he had to continue living on. Tear fell to the ground to his feet.
The Green Knight of the "Finn" are the protectors against of the dead. With flame and steel
he seek out the fell creatures of the night who prey upon the living; the vampires, the
necromancers and the others evil daemons.
Sir Reno Maddog is a noble and Green Knight with an incredible gift; he can sense things and
see glimpse of the future and sometimes predict death before it comes. Reason of this is her
fathers "rangers blood" and mothers "spirit" flows in the wein also very srong.
But to Reno these visions are a curse and one he is afraid to speak of lest he be branded a
witch and executed by his own brothers in arms.
Following a deadly battle against a zombie horde, the Green Knight come to the town of
Helsinki to patch up their wounded and report to the temple of Finn. There is little chance
for respire however, as the town is in the grip of a fearsome killer. The ‘Dream Reaper’ has
already claimed several victims and when the corpse of its latest is left on the temple
steps, some of victims are her own family, the Green Knight must act. So he leave her castle
after funeral and travel long way from home.
His deadly search for the killer leads him through the darkest corners of Dasaria, to hidden
barrows and dread tombs. In his mission, the Green Knight find new allies in their quest
against the darkness but will also meet with tragedy as the full, horrifying truth about the
"Reaper" is laid open.
History of Green Knight.
In the olden days when it was needful that all men should learn the arts of battle and
defense, because law and order had not yet come to prevail throughout the world, knighthood
began, and this is how it came to be.
The fame and honor of this order of chivalry grew as the knights who made it did noble deeds
and set themselves high ideals, until at last every boy of noble family was trained to be a
knight; and what that means you will know better when you have heard about some of the
greatest knights that ever lived, and what brave deeds they did, and to what pledges they
bound themselves. Gradually there came to be customs of knighthood which were the same in all
lands, so that in the later days of chivalry every knight, whether he lived in a castle in
the north of England or was a member of the household of the king of Finland, was trained in
his youth in the same way.
Reno was taken first when he was seven years old and made a page, so that while he was yet a
child he should learn courtesy and obedience and the customs of knightly living.
When he was fourteen the lad exchanged his page's dagger for the sword, and became an
esquire, who should be taught skill at arms and good horsemanship and should gain strength of
body and nobility of heart. In warlike days the esquire might often see much service, for he
always attended his lord and master in arms, whether in travel or tourney or on the field of battle.
When the esquire Reno was twenty, and was deemed worthy in days of strife, had performed many
valiant feat in battle he was made a knight; and this was the most solemn act of all, for by
this deed he pledged himself to devote all his life to chivalry.
There was a custom in the days that when there was cause to war between two kingdoms each
might choose, if they both so willed, a champion who should meet in single combat the knight
chosen by the enemy. Thus would the honor of both parties be satisfied, and long and bloody
war be averted.
Such a combat was agreed upon to settle the dispute which had arisen between Finland and
Italian; and Reno, who was by this time a full-fledged warrior, was so fortunate as to be
chosen for Finland, while one of the Italian lord's grandsons drew the lot to fight for his
province. The meeting place was to be an little island in Finland.
When the appointed day came, Reno was escorted by the knights of Finn to the bank of the
river, and rowed out to the island amid the shouts and cheers of the throng that lined the
shores. The crowds that lined the shores, save for the color of the pennons that waved from
their lances was green. So that day was Green Knight born...

Sir Hyel Loremaster, Knight of Argentum Vigilo, Archmage of Ordo Magica, Future Librarian of the Great Library of Cear upon completion of Ministrial Affairs, Excavation, Recreation and Restoration.
Hyel was born in the forests of Rian so many years prior that he has lost count, but likely it was around 500 years ago. He traveled while the lands were young, and their people even younger. He grew up close to the Naithe, as his father worked within. His mother died while giving birth to Hyel’s brother, his brother also perished from this ordeal. As he only lived up around his father for the young years of his life (By human standards), he held many of the ideals of those working in the arcanum.
Like most Rian, he was instructed in the use of the bow and arrow, and the longsword. He was quite a good shot, but he didn’t want to put forth the effort to train and perfect it. He was also fairly skilled with the sword, but he was more interested in the texts in the Libraries, and thus spent most of his time there.
Although he found the intricacies of magic fascinating, he found that just the basic workings of the world to be awe inspiring. He would sit for hours in the Library looking through herbology books, reading about how two plants with similar names and looks could hold such different medicinal properties, or read how two races of wolf could both work together in their own packs, but would fight a bloody massacre if they came within sight of each other.
He is a specialist mage, focusing more on non-lethal ways of control, such as enchantment. He prefers to hold them under his control to be able to decide on what action to take. For the more destructive forms of offensive magic, he prefers lightning magic, and also enjoys using cold and sound magic as the nature of the conflict permits. However he dislikes using Fire, or Acid spells simply because they have the highest chance of destroying books. He has a strong distaste for Fire, and only dislikes Acid, but he is fine using Lightning spells. His primary use of fire is against undead, as it is their natural bane, and he is often seen laying down an entire blanket of magical flames to burn waves of Canites, or using the power of the sun to melt their already crumbling flesh.

Appearance: Autumn is a rather short human female. She tends to wear lighter armor for mobility. She is a rather agile person, one would assume she was a rogue if she didn’t wield a long sword and hurl manifestations of the arcane into battle.
History: Autumn is the only daughter of a simple farm family. She grew up working around her family’s house. Since her mother and father were usually out tending to the crops, Autumn was able to spend much of her time alone. When she was at the age of 15, she discovered something. Although it is not apparent where it came from, Autumn was gifted with arcane abilities. She could only perform simple spells and tricks, but to her, it was the most wonderful thing in the whole world.
As her life further progressed she started working with her parents in the fields, tending to the crops and helping to sell them in the markets. She also took to watching over the crops at night to watch for raiders and thieves. Once more this is where she would practice with her craft. She kept notes of her discoveries in a small leather-bound parchment notebook.
One night on watch when Autumn was about eighteen, she had yet again been practicing her craft more focused on it- than her post. Although her family was unaware, a group of raiders had been moving through the area pillaging and slaughtering, taking whatever they wanted. Unfortunately, Autumn was not paying attention and the group managed to slip past her. They swiftly silenced the slumbering watch-dog lying outside and slipped into the door of the home. The latch had been unlocked for Autumn… though she would never use that door again. The raiders murdered her father Syndak in his sleep, taking her mother Shadra and any valuables they could get their hands on. Before they left they filled the house with bombs and explosives. As they lit the fuse, they disappeared in the night.
As the explosion ripped its way through the night sky, Autumn suddenly whirled around. As her eyes widened she was able to watch as her house blew apart and burned to the ground. She leapt from the watch post and sprinted towards the inferno. As she reached where the front door used to be she looked down in disbelief. Despite the roaring flames, Autumn moved into what was left standing of her home.
The smoke whirled around her in a blinding fashion causing her to squint her eyes as they watered, bringing her hand up to cover her mouth as she tried not to breathe any of the ashes in directly. She made her way further into the debris, finding her father’s room. She looked down at the mangled, burning corpse and collapsed to the floor, tears splashing down all around her.
Autumn managed to drag the corpse of her father outside through the flames. As she did so, she received numerous scars and burns on her arms and legs, though she did not care. As the night passed and the flames died out, Autumn dug a shallow grave and buried her father and their dog. She made a prayer to the gods for guidance, though she received none.
Knowing that her home was no longer safe, she decided to head back into the smoldering rubble to see what was left, what she could use before she departed. As she searched she came across something she had never noticed before. Locked away in a small wooden case that had burned away in her parent’s closet was a tattered sack made of leather. Blackened by the fire, it seemed as though it was still intact. As Autumn opened the sack she was surprised to find it filled with items of war- or rather a simple militia. The leather armor seemed to be relatively worn, yet unscathed. Along with the armor was a long sword. The blade bore no markings of a maker or any unit- but it did have one thing etched into the blade near the hilt. A name: Syndak. Autumn took up her father’s blade and donned the armor, setting out into the morning sunlight.

Name: Maiia Alandel Priestess of Nuarari (Nanna-sin) Age: 210 years.
Appearance: Short, cropped black hair frames a slim face with dark green eyes. She is of average build and height.
Biography: Maiia has a noble upbringing; she was born into religion, and simply embraced it as such. Outspoken and headstrong, she is a firm believer of her faith despite how she came of it, though she is not beyond her doubts. A priestess, of course, she bears the signs of battle and travel; calloused hands disguise her heritage somewhat, though not completely. She will fight when needed, though she prefers to play the diplomat over the battle-priest.
Name: Matthew Croven
Faithful Servant of Peralia
Age: 24 years.
Appearance: Medium-length black hair that sticks out on all ends and looks like he's just been shocked out of bed by electricity and just stayed this way throughout the day. This static curtain of ravenstraw juxtaposes stark white skin which in turn frames two almond-shaped eyes containing a pair of dark orbs that tend to glimmer brightly at any given mood when a fateful glint of light is needed to capture that pivotal moment. He is slightly taller and skinnier than the average build and height.
Biography: Croven, as he calls himself, remains a blank page to others in many aspects of his background (and personal appearance) as he recalls little about himself to anyone about such trivial things including, but not limited to, his rather dormant and largely unused first name. Croven traveled south to Cear, engaging the folk around him with his vocal pleasantries and subtle one or two-worded questions/statements repeated in question format. Directly perpendicular from these trivial things one would find out about him, is perhaps the more elusive and deeper personal faith Croven has to the goddess of death.
Matthew Croven has recently become Brother Croven, the newest member and a fresh face in the Requiem Guard in the Order of Peralia's worship. It was most recently brought to the attention of his fellow Brothers why he has come to Cear, and although it is unclear who has sent him, his reasons seem to be altruistic.

Name: Elrodur Al'aksir Eldritch Knight; follow of Habla Age: 31 years.
Appearance: His head is shaven, if not for a hint of stubble. His features are sharp and his skin dark. He is a man of the desert.
Biography: A learned student, a palace guard, and now a nomad — he is nothing out of the ordinary. Magic he learnt from a young age, like many of his status; born into a noble family. Slender hands contrast with his sun-worn features — something not particularly surprising for a Cuhannan. He is quick to speak, and does not always wait his turn.
Beliefs: He turns to Habla when in need. He prays when the sun hides itself behind the horizon, as is tradition for his family. It is cooler then.
Cythis Le’tenosef….grabbed his last goblet of pine needle wine. Annoyed with all of the news he heard of his daughters taunting the great Marcus’s empire. However, hew knew it had something to do with this dark elf named Naril. “Naril DiSaan..let’s have some words together.” Years of sitting idle in his crumbled ruins, Cythis stood up and walked to his personal weapon chamber and pulled off the wall a rusty battle axe. “This will have to do.” Previously his home was raided by bugbears, however most of them met there slaughter, Cythis unfortunately loss his scythe in the back of one as it ran off. “Damn bugbears!” He thought, while gripping the bugbear’s great axe. “Damn them all!”
“What are my daughters getting me into?” A smile cracked his face, “what else do I have to live for?” The thought of raising more bastard children came to mind, but why? More loose ends to follow up on? “I’ll meet this Naril. I might even have him take one of my daughters away from me. For the gods, I hope he does.”
Easing into his old scale male wasn’t the most pleasant fit. He smelled of fresh bugbear grease he spread inside of his armor, as it loosened up the hardened leather on the inside. “Hmmm……I’ll need a shield.” Scavenging thru his old junk chest he found a wooden buckler. “They left me nothing!” Suiting up, he felt remotely like his glory days of taking on the barbarians. Locking up his remaining valuables in the tomb and trying to keep them out of site. He headed up the broken steps to leave his ruins and facing the searing day light. Rolling heavy boulders over the entrance this time would help keep out the weaker spelunkers from daring this site.
“Curse Rell! Curse Aemorniel! Curse all of the Rian elves!”, he screamed. Cythis’s eyes went to a bright flash , completely searing his sight. Taking some time to regain his bearings. Cythis had to act fast as the night would come fast and normally he would ravish in such elements, however the night also brought out the greater undead in Korgov Valley. His weapons would have been as useful as twigs against them.
Adding the finishing touches, Cythis smeared the freshly killed remains of a bugbear all over the entrance of his cave as a warning to the wandering enemies that he chose to live amongst. “This will serve them as a good warning.”
Cythis knew he could easily find his daughters. Just follow the path of hatred in the eyes of the humans and elves along the road. They were always easy prey for the dark elves to hunt. Aucklorn Mill was closer by, however infested with undead…..dark elves preferred to kill humans and elves over the departed. And the citizens of Aucklorn Mill would be too easy prey and also drained of resources. “They’re already dead…they just don’t know it”, he thought.
It’s amazing, years after his oldest daughter Cytheria was born, she chose to help Aucklorn Mill. Cytheria even secretly took to worshipping Tyrak, which she heard about from a lone barbarian that took up a home and raised a family near Aucklorn. As a child she didn’t seem any harm with playing with the other children of the other races, however as they got older. The divide came well known. Cythis forbid her to ever help the humans of Aucklorn Mill again, so following the letter of the law she didn’t.
With more time to spend with her after the war with the barbarians, Cythis taught Cytheria how to wield the scythe. Not only where his daughters skilled with weaponry, they also learned to grow up rather quick with undead about. They learned the etiquette from the hopeless families in Aucklorn Mill. Cytheria’s other sisters were good with one, however she excelled at it. Cythis remembered all of this and again, cracked a smile on his cold dark face. Realizing at that time, his life seemed full of trouble with what his offspring would bring home as friends and to him were the offspring of his enemies. Since the family structure of the Tel'gothrim was destroyed living so close on the humans and away from his own kind, Cythis deep inside was alone.
Many years prior he walked by himself. Was this how it would slowly end. Dodging zombies and skeletons at night, and hunting for the little food he could until he finally succumbed to his environment? Cythis never married, however, would go deeper into the darker forest and find others to create more Tel'gothrim children with. He made sure that his bloodline would live thru many, but cursed with only daughters.
Many things in life though Cythis faced, however the biggest was yet to come. Cytheria being her Cythis’s favorite child, also dealt him a tremendous blow. She confronted her father. Openly admitted to him that she worshipped Tyrak and would be able to take care of her from then on. Expecting that he would strike her down, Cytheria pulled out her scythe and commanded the evil beast that she previously called her father to accept a quick honorable death as mercy for his past transgressions. At first Cythis was laughing, trying to deny what monster he created. “A dark elf paladin?” gasping, “this cannot be Cytheria.” Feeling like the humans polluted his daughter into such scum enraged him. Cytheria launched her attacks with such destructive force as she was also taught, cleaving thru the chair Cythis held up to defend him. Cythis knew he had to act quickly or he would be run through. Grabbing anything he could, flinging bottles, and flipping himself over the tables to prevent the trauma for one of her swings. He had fought one such knight before and the Paladin of Tyrak with the divine gift almost ended him.
Cythis however, unarmed was still very formidable against his daughter as her being so young did not give her the advantage that she thought she had over him. Swinging the heavy blade at Cythis, she caught him in his left side and with one hand he crabbed onto it to prevent her from rending anymore into him, and with the other he pulled out a rod. Cytheria, was fighting a battle of strength. But with many years of fighting and working with mages and thieves, he tapped his rod against her blade she was so dearly wrenching and spoke the human tongue and set off the spell it contained. Cytheria, being so young was not prepared or able to prepare for the magic as it continuously sent bolt of energy down her handles and wouldn’t even let her release from it. Again Cythis commanded the rod to release, but this time it blew Cytheria back against the wall and she fell unconscious.
“My, my, my child,” feeling the blood cooling down his side, “evil beast eat there young….if I am such as you say I am.” His other daughters came home to the mess. In horror and disbelief they ran to there father laying on the ground. After, bandaging Cythis up, he lay in his chambers, breathing deep breathes as it hurt to breathe at all. His other daughter Cyrin, bound up Cytheria, tightly with her arms behind her and blind folded and gagged, she only had her ears to hear.
“Daughter of mine, I shall give you everything you wanted. You said you could take care of yourself. Then you shall do that. I will release you tonight out of Korgov Valley. You will take care of yourself and be on your own. Tied up, blindfolded, and gagged. I hope Tyrak will lead you into a better life then what I provided you. Cyrin, please walk her to our entrance and let her out. We no longer need her presence amongst us.”
Cythis realized how absolutely life can change that day. How everything can absolutely be destroyed over something as an idea or believe, or thought. It took some time for Cythis to heal as it barely missed his heart. Having his other daughters make many trips to gain magical aid for his wounds help speed it up. But Cythis was hurt emotionally by this last battle. “A damn dark elf paladin!” he grimaced. “What’s next, a dark elf ranger that supports Cear?”
*present*Cythis heard rumors that a female dark elf was harassing the country side wielding a scythe. He sent his other daughters after her, as to make peace with her and for her to join back with the family. His other daughters never came back. He also heard of Naril the dark elf that fought for the dark elves against the empire. He had to find out more about this Naril and his daughters. He learned of his daughters status against the empire and in one breathe was terrified for her and yet reveled at it as well. His family now is once again together.
Come, ye humans and sons of Rian, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of the Illythiiri
Sammil Card was born Sam Bodige in the city of Dasar in the year 606 M.A. Fatherless for his young life, he was raised by his birthmother Arina Foale, a low ranking priestess of Teshalia in the Temple in which she served. His mother had given him the last name of the man who sired him. When Sam was 7 years old, Arina contracted a wasting disease, which over the next year would slowly consume her body and mind, ending in her death in 614. Sam was placed in the custody of the local Temple of Peralia during the making of the arrangements. Hours following her funeral, he was given over to a man he had seen for the first time at his mother’s laying to rest, and was told that this was his Father.
Sam’s Father turned out to be a roadhouse bard of well known talent among the taverns and roadhouses on the roads from Corda to Dasar and to Morell. Travelling with him, Sam discovered he had an ear for music and his father began teaching him his trade. At first Sam sang some small parts as his Father sang and played the lute. As the years went by, Sam became known as Samm’l after the name that his father called him. His skill at gambling earned him the name “ThreeCard” in Morell and Corda after the game which he played and played well. He surpassed his father’s skill in play of the lute, and his father also trained him in the martial use of the sword for defense and the bow for hunting. In the summer of 620, while putting up for the night aside the Morell road to Dasar near Oraan’s Crossing, their small camp was attacked by bloodthirsty cutthroats, and while Sam was hunting for firewood and dinner, his father was slain after downing two of his attackers.
Returning to this grisly sight after a few hours, Sam buried his father by the roadside, and took his father’s broken lute to be his own. He left the scene and his father behind him, known as Sam Bodige once again. The next 16 years saw Sammil play and entertain in the roadside Inns and taverns alone. His skill at gambling, singing, and womanizing became something of local legend in these places. This earned Sammil some coin, but also the unwanted attention of a wealthy merchant in Morell who discovered that his only daughter had been subject to Sammil’s affections when he was in town. In the late summer of 636, Sammil, tired of same roads and looking for a good place to escape the hired thugs of the outraged merchant, did the unexpected and chartered passage on a ship from Morell to the city of Cear as Sammil Card.
Sammil’s skills were well received in Cear, where he, having spent most of his savings to charter the passage from Morell, sang and played for his supper and board. In early fall, he met a woman who was to change 22 years of the road.
Amelia Almaran, well known by most bards and part of the famous Dasarian Almaran Family and Knight of the Argentum Vigilo, came to know Sammil by way of his music. Amelia seemed to Sammil as if she was moving through life heartbroken. Sam’s attachment to Amelia was almost instant. He played for her like he had played for no other woman in his life, and his heart found magic in the notes. Sammil has been faced with something he had never encountered in 22 years of entertaining people. Love.
The Genvaldi family traces back and is chronicled as an old, noble, Dasarian family, native to Cear. Fifty years ago, during the final struggle between Varana and Dasaria, Kinn Genvaldi (Edana's father), made the decision to defect rather than fight Varana. He eventually ascended in the Varanian ranks, and became a Claw Warlord. Kinn followed Anshar, and in a struggle for more power, he attempted a ritual that would have sacrificed a pure soul to his master. He tried to use his only child for the ritual - but the ritual failed and the docks district was nearly destroyed in the aftermath.
Kinn ended up destroying himself, and a five year old Edana fled, with the help of her father's former apprentice. She is usually vague in describing the apprentice, just saying that he's an elf but never elaborating, never mentioning what kind. Fifteen years later, she returned to Cear, and is known as a servant of Nuarari. She is a Moonsinger, who is currently in love with (and rather enraptured with) with a mysterious man that most residents of Cear know as Shard. She is one of the few who know his real identity.
She tries to run from her family's heritage, but she fights for what she believes in.

Famous Last Words: "A lich, huh? No problem; I steal his spellbook."
Growing up on the Planes is an adventure in itself, but Shadowfell [also known as the Plane of Shadows] is a particuarly tricky place. Snow and ice is everywhere. The chill that lingers in the air will not fade, no matter how hot the fire. Therefore, it is not surprising that Amarenth Dormagic is more than a little bit reserved. She gives a pseudonym to all that she meets - "Call me Mera" - until such time that she can fully trust an individual. Only her family knows her as Amarenth, and it is her family she misses most, now that she is on the material plane.
She arrived in Cear after a summoning accident. An inept Shadowmage attempted to summon a denzien from the Plane of Shadows, mistakenly obtaining Mera instead. The mage died for her error. Ever since, Mera has silently been gaining all of the knowledge she can, torn between wanting to return to the Planes and her new desire to stay in Cear. But she is also, nervously, keeping a darker, deeper secret that she does not want revealed. Her family is Dasarian, thrown into Shadowfell after a horrific mistake. Inheriting both her father and grandfather's penchants for stealth and her mother's gift of illusion, she hopes to become great.

Once known as William Dearborn. The esteemed wandering priest has since died and reappeared as the reborn William Trueborn.
Ironically, William who spent his first 23 cycles of life searching for answers, passed away due to bodily injuries from the battles during Lendose's sacking and his own sickness incurred upon birth. This is the time that he had come by his answer. More accurately, the answer came by him in the form of an ominous vision.
The time has come for you to face your war inside. You were born weak and died the same way. Now you are reborn, William, able to fight. From my body came the earth and the heavens. Everything that you know and sense around you was made from my destruction. You know who I am, so you now know who you are. I know you can change the future.
Your power is no longer limited by the gods, who fight for control over your world. However, as I have been destroyed, so are your scattered powers. Go out and grow strong. Spread the truth about me, and find those who believe as you believe.
You have watched the way the world has turned since humans have come into power through the worship of their impudent list of gods. Start anew, you who sees in black and white, as a snake watching through the greenery. Nature has given birth to you, but you are my child.
I will never lie to you. Your path is a path of destruction that will bring forth a new era. This world has left you stricken, but you have a mentor who knows my husband. We will strike back and awaken Apsu, the father of time and space, and we will start a new place of True Power meant from the beginning for the destined beings of Life.
In the empty graves of Lendose, the cursed sickness in William that destroyed his human mother overwhelmed his faith and beliefs that had kept him alive along with the other half of his heritage. Upon awaking from a divinely inspired dream many days later, he found himself in a familiar ruins of the Order of the Whirling Serpents with his wounds bandaged.
He immediately found a nearby book and utensil of which to record his thoughts.
I awaken in the old tower of my mentor where I was trained in the arts of meditation and martial defense. My hair is long and healthy, my body strong and fully recovered from the time of my death.
Yes... I died.
Everything is still in black and white. I must determine the limits of my newfound abilities.
