You know what really scares me about this conversation: that lanky and I are on the exact same page. It seems unless we're talking about spellcasters, we think almost alike... scary.
Dwarves are pretty cool, though I'm also a human centric player myself, an extra feat and skill points really allow a huge amount of versatility.

lol Dwarves are overpowered, I never understood the +2 con -2 cha.
For ECL to really be balanced there needs to either
1. Be an exp cap(which is the only option in nwn2)
2. For there to be no level limit really(which is how it is in pnp)
That way when you compare a human wizard, to a drow wizard, you must always compare them as the human is 2 levels higher. Even then drow or tieflings can be argued on still being better. ECL sucks more at the lower levels.
Personally I hate the grinds, I like to see my levels go up. I know in the end I"ll be weaker than that drow wizard. But luckily this in an RP server and in the end I"ll just not pick fights with drow!

Good point but Gregor, my fast becoming favorite RP character already, doesn't have such an option. I have to say it is sometimes tricky to play him, esp. where teiflings are about, but when he works its just awesome and thats what RP is all about in my opinion.Databug wrote:Personally I hate the grinds, I like to see my levels go up. Well so far I've met a total of 2 other Tieflings
Lots of Drow, TONS of Dwarves, a few elves, 4 or 5 half Orc barbarians, and a cool half Orc monk.
Seen a few humans too, bout on a par with the Dwarves overall.
I think also it depends on what time your playing at, different time regions have different players with different playstyles.
