WTB Low end equipment!

Post by darryl33179 »

A dwarf has been overheard asking the local smithys for some better equipment.

(( WTB some low end equipment, good for dwarf fighter, full plate +1, or +2. And a Dwarven Axe +1, or +2 Perhaps there are smithy npc that sell them? But i have not seen them at Ironbakcs..they have SOME +1, but not what i need. ALso please forgive, i am very new here, so I am not sure what people may acquire from dungeons, or if they have to be crafted, etc.))

((P.S. any suggestions on what type of gear i SHOULD be using is appreciated, i am currently lv 3 (almost 4) so far iI am full Fighter, but i plan to go with Dwarven Defender..my base stats are: STR-19 DEX- 12 COn-16 INT -14 WIs-8 CHA-6 SO far my feats i have gone with are : Luck of HEroes, WEapon Focus (dwarven waraxe) Power Attack, and Cleave.

I am going for a somewhat hard hitter, but also able to take a decent beating, using either heavy,or perhaps tower shield? SO, any advice on what type of amorur would be good, and rings/trinkets etc. thanks!))

p.p.s. In game name is Kusil SNoutbasher

Dwarven War Axes shouldn't be too hard to find eventually, as they are rather common in the loot pool. I could craft some for you from Darksteel or Cold Iron, but you'd need to find an enchanter to enhance them. Otherwise, there are mundane War Axes that can be found, up to +3 enhancement bonus.

For what you should be using at your level, I think a +1 Full Plate, +1 Tower Shield / Heavy Shield, +1 weapon of choice, and some magical trinkets would suit you fine. Remember to stock up on Snail Charms and Ghostbane Charms from Charms of the Tehlkmar shop in Trades and Commons, as they will help you greatly. And don't forget to keep your pile of Healer Kits in your bags at all times.

You are going to encounter enemies that use some spells that will prove quite dangerous to a fighter-based class. If you can find any, look for items with bonuses to your resistances, specifically Will save and saves versus Mind Affecting spells. Also, some enemies have damage reduction, so experiment with weapons of different materials to bypass some of the reductions.

Ealden's is the place where most +1 items get sold. After the server has been up for several hours he will have a wide variety of +1 items. He has +1 full plate right now.
