Got a novel idea (pardon the pun) thats never seen the light of day? Or that bestseller you aim to write "one day"?

I do, and I'm going to go completely mad and join up for the month of July to http://campnanowrimo.org/, a summer camp style version of NaNoWriMo, http://www.nanowrimo.org/en (National Novel Writing Month, which is held in November).

The idea is to set yourself a word limit, then just attack your novel as hard as you can for the month of July to hit that word limit.

For those of you that want to participate but don't have a book idea in mind there will also be help to find an idea. The idea works like this (note that 'participants' means those that need help with an idea, or want to choose a topic this way - NOT everyone associated with the Julywrimo)

The participants each create two sentences.
We pool all of these sentences together and everyone chooses one sentence from the pool that they didn't personally create.

This sentence acts an anchor; your story will contain the idea from the sentence. Your novel does not need to contain the exact sentence; only the idea.

For example, your sentence could be "Joseph ducked down behind the wall; his eyes were wide with fear". This begs the questions: What is he fearful of? Where does Joseph live? When does Joseph live? What kind of wall is he ducking behind? How old is Joseph? Did Joseph do something wrong? - and many more various questions; many of which just spawn more questions.
