Crimson began work on a story several years ago that last year he decided to transform into an RPG, which he began working on in his spare time. In June 2013, he invited me – Rohenna - to work on the character development and dialogue for the game, and then in September, Alterity joined us as lead programmer, working closely with Crimson to tweak and improve and streamline. May 2014 and Kell came on board to push the marketing as we launched the game on Kickstarter.
We also have the skills of a very talented musician for our completely unique soundtrack, tailored scene by scene, and a wonderful artist to bring the characters to life.
On the 2nd of May, we launched Exile Saga on Kickstarter, a fundraiser program that will hopefully allow us to finish building the game over the next 18 months or so. Exile Saga is at this point in time a working demo, giving you a taste of what to expect in the future. Free downloads of the Exile Saga alpha version are currently available to play on Windows, MAC and Linux OS.
We’ve had some great reviews, including this one recently: http://themasqueradergamingnetwork.word ... xile-saga/
As our friends, and you being the community where it all began, we’d love to see what you think about it too. We'd like to invite you to visit our Kickstarter page for more details on the game, characters and staff https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/10 ... exile-saga or visit our website, http://www.exilesaga.com/; you can Like us on Facebookhttps://www.facebook.com/exilesaga and Twitter https://twitter.com/MerakiGames and support our project if you like what you see!"You’re creating history as you move through the narrative, major characters haven’t played a part yet with only one major event taking place. I felt eased into the game gently."
"It plays very similar to early JRPGs but with the added exception of the combat. Instead of going into turn based combat whenever you encounter an enemy, you play in real time."
"The design of the game is the icing on the cake. Visually the game is impressive, not because of the graphical prowess but because of the way the developers have authentically recreated the JRPGs of the 90s."
