Bardic Questions
What are the musical instruments for? (Besides playing music with) The ones's I've seen in Strings Attached have no stats, or anything special that I can see yet cost 140g.
What good is Spellcraft for? It tells you what spell is being cast I know. Otherwise what good is it for?

From what I have noticed, when you use a Bard Song while holding a specific instrument, you make the sounds of that instrument instead of whistling.KeyraAugustina wrote:What are the musical instruments for? For every five ranks of Spellcraft, you get +1 saves to all spells. I believe it's just the ranks and doesn't consider any bonus to skills provided through items or feats. It's a pretty beneficial skill in that regard. Of course, as a roleplay element it's also good. What good is Spellcraft for? It tells you what spell is being cast I know. Instruments usually have some useful barderific stats on them. If they don't, I guess they are for roleplay, kind of like the hats and dresses in the other stores.
About spellcraft - good question! I've seen modules where it's sometimes good to open up new conversation options.

Shouldnt that be enough? The basic whistle gets a bit boring after a while.KeyraAugustina wrote:What are the musical instruments for? (Besides playing music with)
I'm sure eventually there will be some looted instruments that have additional stats, but the ones we can buy are simple, and I have them all.
I'm always right. I'm also a jerk. It's not my fault you can't get over the latter to see the former.

I hope we get to play a didgeridoo!
"What is a didgeridoo?
What is a didgeridoo?
It comes from the land of the kangaroo,
but what does a didgeridoo?"

(Oom-yacka-wurka, oom-yacka-wurka, oom-yacka-wurka)
In the bad backlands of Australia
Many years ago,
The aborigine tribes were meeting,
Having a big pow-wow.
(Oom-yacka-wurka, oom-yacka-wurka)
"We got a lot of trouble, Chief,
On account of your son Mack."
"My boy Mack? Why, what's wrong with him?"
My boomerang won't come back.
"Your boomerang won't come back?"
My boomerang won't come back,
My boomerang won't come back,
I've waved the thing all over the place,
Practised till I was black in the face,
I'm a big disgrace to the Aborigine race,
My boomerang won't come back.
