I say we finish it on the boards.. if for no other reason than to give the boys time to play with their toy. (i.e. the toolset)

Its unfortunate but I would rather the DM's spend what time they have on the new toolset. If we never finish I would be curious to know what had been planned by the DM's.

oh we will finish it guys. If it runs over past release, it may be in NWN2 medium.

I personally think it would fit in perfectly with aspects of the new campaign.

Is there a way to port characters over? I didn't think there would be but I don't follow the mechanics of the game closely.

The quest is good, we could always have the same quest in the new NWN2, is that what you guys meant, or actually recreating our characters again on the new server? Either way, wouldn't matter to me, though my new character is incredibly saucier than Aeris with a much better heart.

We could remake the characters in nwn2 and just play it as a stand alone, as NWN2 is made to do. At least thats what I was thinking of.

If we are not going to use our NWN I characters then would it be ok if I play Henry a bit so I can get some practice playing a cleric and handling the spells?

I would guess yes, Mon. After all, they can always pull you back a level or so if they really need to.

Just go into Hoardes of the Underdark, do your 15 levels of cleric and then do a 'save character', and exit that game. Start a single player NWN (the original campaign) game, and do it there. That's how I've been playing with stats and things. Works like a charm.
