the only thing I hate about holloween is not having anything to do. No parties or anything and too old to trick or treat.

The weather pretty much messed it up for me this year. Between being ill for most of October and it raining I never got a chance to set up my graveyard. That and it was raining for most of the day today as well and my cold is coming back.

Although we had bought a costume for my daughter when my wife went to put it on her she discovered that it was footed and the ground was sopping wet so we had to keep her in her stroller to keep her dry.

I will post what pictures we have later......a disappointing Halloween this year.

Since I moved from my old home to where I live now, I've had a lot better Halloween then I ever have. A long time ago (back when I was around 9-12 or so) I used to go trick-or-treating out on the military base. That was always fun, and I came back with a lot of candy.

Sadly, that stopped for whatever reason I was never privy to, so I spent many a year afterword moping about doing nothing for Halloween. I even tried to give out candy for three years straight, and got only one bite. That was during my second year and it was from the neighbors across the street and I swear that was just for the sake of just saying I gave out some .

Since the move I've given out candy twice and both times I enjoyed it. This year was a bit colder then last though, so I was freezing my tail off the entire time, but it was still enjoyable.
