A tale of roleplaying and faction.

I have returned to NWN2 and Dasaria after a year or so (NWN is one of those games I enjoy coming back too).
So a year or so ago (having convinced a friend of mine to join and play) - I had entered into a contract to retrieve "some stolen property" - and formed a posse with a Paladin (said friend) , named Wyn (Welsh FYI).
Now Wyn is a Idealogical purist. It wasn't enough to be lawful good on average, Wyn would never do anything that could be perceived as evil or contary to law. There is a pleasent buzz just doing stuff for the roleplaying aspect. And yet becaused was aware of realities would take skills like lockpicking not normally associated with limited view of Paladins.
Having convinced Wyn recovering stolen property was indeed appropriate, and deliberately failing to mention which good the "temple" was associated with. (Wyn never having done this quest before). We embark upon our purpose.
When what should happen that one of the monks should start talking in the middle of combat (A DM had taken him over and was using local say in the middle of combat). Which led to a discussion on rightness, a revelation as to purposes, and further roleplaying. (For reference sake the Tyrak temple was hosting the escaping slaves).
Now Wyn realized there was a need for a companionship of like minded thinkers - and was instrumental in forming the Tyrak faction.
All stemming from some fun (unplanned) roleplaying.
