To have a Ventrilo server would add what is missing from the roleplaying
aspect.

It is what I miss from playing the old pen and paper games. At least we
were never always IC during play sessions. Not in live RP games either.
It is nice to be allowed to concentrate on being IC ingame, and to OOC ...

Something to keep in mind is that no matter how you play, you will be a really, really poor assassin.

Unless it is made as a roleplaying event, where the victim actually stays dead, you have no way of killing another player character.

Imagine the anger of your 'employer' when he sees the 'victim ...

The game was not much more than a tombrider clone.. without puzzles.

It did not have what people have come to expect as 'Blizzard quality'.

But fear not. There are plans for more Starcraft games in the works, which certainly seems to be great. :)

Random thoughts.
4: A personal favorite of mine: thief-nuking stones. An item that does Very Bad Things to a thief when it's pickpocketed. I've been on the receiving end of these, and it always leads to hilarity. The trick is to make it very clear that it's a thief-nuking item that caused the ...

Funny thing,

Something exists in the game, to stop this,
Its called SPOT skill.

See, then you could actually DO something.

If a boar hits you, you work on your AC,
If a Trap hits you, you work on your Disarm,
if a thief hits you, People complain.

HEY WYVERN !

Im a low level thief, and ...

If the majority of the playerbase feels strongly enough about the abuse of the skill, then let's hear some concrete suggestions to help with the situation. I'm sorry, but just saying "change it" isn't enough.

This is not a suggestion?

Any way that a cap can be placed on the lowest level you ...

Merchant: "An Emperor."

James: "Which one?"

Merchant: "This one. *points to the sword*"

James: "Yes, that's what I asked you. Which one did you want for it?"

Merchant: "I said an Emperor."

James: 'Yes, but which one?!"

Merchant: "..."

Of all my characters, my monk has been the one with least problems in the beginning.

You can get to level 2 and a half by doing all the starting quests in one go. Basically just by talking to the patrons at the inn and the merchants in the southern parts of town.

That is one hour of play if you ...

Re: A MySpace survey... for your character!

I don't know if anyone else has a MySpace account, but once you get a few friends on there they spam you with surveys. Anyway, I thought this might be an interesting little venture...

Another way to solve it is to create dynamic difficulty spawns with triggers. I honestly don't know how easy/hard it is to make, so it's just an idea. The area trigger would spawn the monster of the same level as the highest party member. Is there a way to set a level of a monster dynamically ...
