Hey all I understand this doesn't even belong on the Dasaria 2 forums but I would not do it if I wasn't sure where else to post, I've noticed to the bioware forums for NWN1 and 2 have closed so I have no clue where to post this topic.

I've been trying to get my toolset to work so I can design a uniform for Culnul Harbringers but it won't load everytime it attempts to load all I get is this... Also I have NWN2 Platinum on Steam

Anybody else encountered this or know how to fix this? Its rather annoying and more annoying with the bioware forums closing.

It's my understanding that the Steam version of NWN2 does not include the Toolset or DM client, but the license keys obtained from Steam will work on a non-Steam copy of the game.

IIRC, the Steam Toolkit is there, but hidden as 'Platinum Edition Map Editor' or some such.

I might re-install.

I have re-installed the toolset many times and still no good.

If you don't have the actual discs, you could probably find a torrent (no links here for legal purposes). As long as you install using your legit CD keys, you shouldn't violate any copyright laws, and it will probably fix your problem.

Bump on this, you're better of asking on the Bioware boards where you'll have a wider audience of people who may have experienced this issue.

Are you running with limited user permissions by chance? Have you tried running this as administrator?

Hmm. I'd say look in the steam folder where NWN2 is installed, and look to find the files central directory, it might be in some awkward place because it was installed by steam (they have a tendency to do some steam based directory work). For me I think the central directory is in program files. Try to find yours, its likely in the program files>steam>steamapps>yourusername.

I also suggest you look on the steam forums, as they tend to have game specific problems posted there as well.
