We got to what we thought was the end of this quest, but we couldn't pick up the candlestick (may have just been a candle). It would tell us something similar to * You burn your finger when touching the candle, wisdom would dictate against playing with fire *. There was also a second book in the candlestick room and I was guessing this may have been intended to be the candlestick. It may be working properly and we just haven't figured it out yet, but I wanted to post on the chance that the second book was a bug that should have been the candlestick.
Overall it is still a fun quest even if we haven't been able to finish it yet:).
Thanks,
-gnat

OK, THANK YOU! I spent an hour today/yesterday trying to find that damned rapier. Glad to know I'm not brain damaged.Kazak wrote:Actually, now the rapier is missing from the rack. The candle is pickable now.
The candlestick, by the way - in case it's still troubling you - is in that room you used the key on. There are two. One burns you, one is pickable.

I just came out of the dungeon, I was there with Grayle. We found the candle stick just fine this time, but the rack that has the rapier didn't have the rapier in it.
I kind of think the dungeon is a bit too hard for its level/xp/reward. I went through more potions there than sewers and bandits combined.
