You might want to wait bro. If you update you wouldn't be able to play on Das until the server gets upgraded.

Aw... well, I'm surprised at myself that I didn't felt anything while I uninstalled Oblivion.

Edit: By the way, how long do you think will it take for people to update the server? The server is down right now so it seems I won't be able to play today anyways...

No idea, that is the question for the DMs. According to Wyv's post, the server crashed hard core. Maybe they will need to rebuild the box first, then patch it. Rebuilding a server usually takes 1-2 hours, then reloading NWN and patching it....another 30 mins.

I wouldn't speculate anything, I am sure DMs will post an update when they see it fit.

Well I'm patched to 1.03 via the auto-updater. I'm hoping the server will be patched up by... Saturdayish. Oh well, I've got 4 courses to do in the next two weeks and I will probably screw around writting up more of Lok'Toks history.

I wouldn't be surprised that with the server being down, when they rebuild it (or whatever they need to do) they might patch it to 1.03.

However - I don't plan on patching until I see that they've updated even though I'm itching to try out the DM client myself. It looks like they fixed a bunch of things with the camera as well - thank the gods! The current camera views are horrible.

I am hoping that we just need to repair Windows. Once that has been done, and assuming it starts working again, we will be looking to update to 1.03 as soon as possible. I can't promise when things will be back up and running however.

And I am not holding my breath that the patch fixes anything critical until I see it with my own eyes, but at least it has been released finally.

What do i need to do as a player during this whole process? Is it enough to do the automatic update to 1.03 and then play once Das 2 is upgraded?

Or will i need to download a new .mod file too?

when the server gets patched just update via the updater in NWN. you'll only need a new pwc etc if Das releases new content and put the file out for download
