Re: Light penalties
Seems....
It also mentions it's not applied in the rolls, only in the sheet.
But in my case it -is- applied in the rolls, suddenly making this dark elf class less "interesting" again.
Does the feat to deny it works?

Re: Light penalties
I'm also building a formerly "drow" at the moment and i'm also experiencing that kind of behavior of the "light blindness feat" but i think that is not that tragic on my drow works as if i am inside something ( house, cave or so ... ) i do not suffer any penalty no matter if outside is day or night but if i'm outside i'm always experiencing the penalty ( no matter if it's day or night )Jain Zar wrote:My I'tel Gothrim still also receives light penalties outdoors during the night![]()
Character : Zar'Daerilzt Arkentlar
it's more " outdoor blindness" instead of "light blindness" but is not that bad at least in my experience

[tangent]
First and foremost and more for my own curiosity; what's a formerly drow? How does one become "un-drow"? Because I want to learn that trick.
Secondly, on a more serious note: are you aware that on Dasaria there are no drow? The dark elves (I'tel'gothrim) on Dasaria have a slightly different lore from the FR drow. If you already know then excuse me! But if you don't...; Check this! or This!

Re: Light penalties
When talking OOC, though, "drow" is faster and easier to type than "I’tel'gothrim"
(BTW, I don't know why the "I" at the beginning is only used sometimes).
I -think- I've read that Light Adaptation doesn't work, but I've only played a drow on a drow-specific module, so I've never bothered to test it, and I could be remembering it the wrong way. Or maybe it was fixed in Dasaria, I don't know.

Re: Light penalties
formerly just because on das there are no drow but what changed is the name and the lore if we look at the game mechanics drow from OC and I’tel'gothrim from DAS is the same race with different name and lorepwdcrk wrote:Kell wrote:[tangent]

... so once was drow now is not it's a I’tel'gothrim that have same stat / bonuses / penalties / bugs than a classic drow
then formerly drow
and as Arkalezth said is faster to type than I’tel'gothrim
thanks i'm aware that classic drow and I’tel'gothrim are different

Re: Light penalties
Awesome, alright. Bit disappointed that there's no magic trick to "undrow" but let's get back to our original broadcasting.
