The room was quiet as none was inside but the sound of someone crying soon filled the room up. The tears fell down the Aamisars cheeks as the items she received were on her desk and the letter in her hands. It had been too long since Leana last got a letter from anyone but this one was one that made her heart warm. Folding the piece of parchment up and placing it into a small pocket she then went to one of the items on her desk, wrapping it up and taking it with her before heading towards Lendose.

Dear Leana

For many years I have wished to write a letter to you and only now after you have lost so much do I find the courage to do so. The loss of Silvannia and Erhadril has caused much sorrow for many and we grieve for your loss and the loss of two great friends.

I suppose I should introduce myself I am Sera D'chan a Paladin in the service of Etoth. I was a friend of Silvannia and entrusted her with the greatest treasure I have ever been given, you. I know this is hardly a fair way to learn of your kin but when word reached me of your foster parents deaths I grew sick of worry.

I understand you have many questions and I would like to answer them in person if you are willing. I am currently on layover in Lendose awaiting assignment to the front and will likely be there for many days. Come to Lendose and show the hammer in this package to the regiment commander and he will take you to me.

I hope you will find it in your heart to come see me and perhaps forgive my not being there as a mother should. I hope to see you soon and may Etoth find you worthy.

Sera D'chan

It had been nearly a few weeks since Leana was told by the recruiting commander in Lendose where her mother might be. She wasn't allowed on the front until she could prove herself to the commander that she was worthy enough to be let on. Her mind was clouded by the though on what her mother looked like and why she did what she did to her. This was something that had made an empty whole in her heart ever since the letter. A space that could never be filled no matter what she tried to do, on top of that there was something about Gabriel that she wasn't telling or couldn't figure out. There was something that was drawing her towards her but yet it was something that she couldn't figure out.

I was almost as if something had happen between them and it was only her that couldn't remember what that 'something was'. Everything just seemed to be an endless lane of questions that the answer could not be found. Leana at the time was by herself once again after helping Celestia out with the temple. Her body was plated in her golden armor up against a old dark wood tree, her eyes were closed as her breathing was slowed down. All that Leana could hear was the sound of nothing unless she focused onto something. She could hear the sound of the crickets in the grass as she focused on them.

Again the empty space that was inside of her became more of a noticeable feeling the more Leana tried to meditate. This was way more than enough to cause Leana to come out of her trance with a gasp for air. She couldn't relax even if her body wanted too at this was more than enough for her to become on edge. Even the sound of the leaves on the branches from the tree was enough to make her nearly pull her weapon out.

Re: Leana Dawn

In the past every day just felt like nothing had changed and that Leana was just doing the same thing over and over again. Admittingly she didn't care and nor would she but all that changed when Leana met a man named Fynye. At first it was something that even Leana couldn't understand but after the days that went by and spending the time with him it soon added up. Pondering on her own thoughts on what to do next she quietly sipped her wine inside the Two Bridges Inn. It was busy today which wasn't a surprise since it was already nightfall. The place around her was full of conversations and laughter as the sound drifted all over the place.

Even though Leana prefers to stay away from everyone else unless they come to her she did enjoy over hearing other peoples conversations. Some of them are quite the heart warming and then there are some that are just upsetting. Shaking her head Leana went back to minding her own business and started to think about the road a head. Taking another sip of her drink before holding it near her mouth she gave out a light sigh as she pondered on a thought. The wine was that of a sweet tasting one with a strong flavour of berry's but it didn't feel right to drink. Something wasn't right and as always Leana just ignored it as per usual.

Glancing around for a moment or two she over hear a conversation that caught her attention, two males were sitting at a table both with tankards within there hands but one was crying?. As Leana listened to them two talk she soon understood what had happened. The man that was crying had just heard that his son had been killed by a necromancer outside Thralls Gate. Leana just took once glance at the glass with the pure red liquid before walking over towards the two. As she got closer one of the males looked up to her and before long so did the other one. She asked what had truly happened and that she was willing to help out.

Even though Leana didn't show it for some reason she could feel the pain that he was going through, on top of that her anger towards the necromancer was just getting worse. The man told Leana the best he could through the tears and the pain on what happened. Leana gave a nod and placed her helmet on telling him that she will be back with the item the Necromancer stole. Upon leaving and heading towards the area the man described to her Leana couldn't help but think on why she was doing this. Normally she would just let it fly over her like the birds in the sky but Leana felt like she could make a difference in this.

Hitting the destination of Thralls Gate Leana glanced around the place just to see Guards and Thralls doing there duty's. Although most people would slow down or stop to look at them Leana didn't, she had a job to do and she was going to see it through that it will happen. Heading out towards where the man described the place she got ready, taking her sword into her right hand with her shield to the left casting a few spells. As Leana got closer to the point it was easily noticed that someone who can summon undead was here. Brainless and rotten corpse walked around almost as if looking for something the sink there teeth in.

Seeing such vile creatures walk around waiting for some unlucky being or creature to land in there grasp Leana got ready for a fight. Moving towards one of the rotten beings it turned and looked at her. The skin was rotten away with strong nasty smell that could make you puke, in where the left eye should be was just maggots moving around. The creature itself was just giving out moans as it slowly stumbled its way to Leana. As she walked closer towards the creature Leana raised her sword and swung in a motion that cut the beings head clean off. The head landed on the floor with its jaw trying to chew something but the body just crashed to the ground like some heavy weight. This caught the attention of the others as they too turned and started to walk towards Leana in the typical zombie fashion. One by one Leana strikes each one of them a killing blow as they got closer to her, soon there was no vile creatures left but she wasn't satisfied.

Yelling out loud and calling out for the necromancer upon turning she saw the vile being who had taken the life of the child. He was just standing there laughing like as if he enjoyed seeing things become killed or all this was just a big game to him. This just made Leana want to kill him even more and not long Leana ran towards him only to end up crashing back down to the ground. Her blade and shield left her hands and flew out of reach. Glancing at her feet she could see arms of those vile creatures come out of the ground and holding her in place. As Leana struggled to get onto her feet she could feel more hands holding her arms.

Once again the Necromancer just stood there laughing to himself as Leana tried her best to fight through the grips of the undead. Nothing was working and before long she started to grow tired as the arms were pulling her down towards the ground. Just like that sharp pains started to fill her body but like as always she tried to hide it. The vile creatures were doing what they did best as there teeth crushed her armour and pierced her skin. Leana closed her eyes and for that exact moment everything felt like it just froze.

'Rel, I'm sorry, I have failed you, if I can't win a fight against an enemy this sluggish then I am not worthy to spread your light.'

For a moment Leana just let the creatures do what they wanted to her.

'My friends have tried there best to help me and I just threw it back at there faces. I have been . alone for most of my life and not done a damn thing about it'

Leana slowly opened her eyes to see the Necromancer laughing at what was all happening.

'No, I . . I can't go out like this, I wont. It's my turn to make a change, I'm not going to give up'

For what felt like minutes was only a few seconds and the Necromancer watched and stopped laughing for a moment. Leana was slowly raising up to her feet as her eyes were fixed onto the man who killed another man's son. One by one the creatures around her started to turn into ash as Leana stepped forwards towards the Necromancer. Every creature that was raised was only brought down by Leana and before long she had her sword within her hand.

“My Rel's light strike the enemy's of the darkness!.”

One swing was giving and it was enough to bring the necromancer down to the ground bleeding. As the body lied there dying Leana noticed the necklace the man explained about dangling around his neck. Taking no second chances she took hold of it and finished the job before heading back towards the Inn at the Two Bridges. It took her a long while since the battle really drain some energy out of her but in the end she did. Placing a hand on the crying man's shoulder and placing the necklace within his hands she watched him. The man stayed there holding the necklace tight in his hands before standing up and giving Leana a hug. This was something that Leana didn't know what to do but nodded before heading up to the rooms to get cleaned out at least.

Sometimes for something good to come out of someone you had to do something in return.

(((when listening to it wait about a minute into the song)))

The rain trickled lightly on Leana's armour as her sword stood solid in the sand before her. Around her were warriors from Cear circling around her like a pack of wolfs around there pray. Leana sat there concentrating with her eye's shut listening on there every move they make, every other sound was cancelled out by the shifting of the sand around her. Silently she waited for someone to make the first move ready for any attack to come her way. A few seconds passed where the rain just pinged off her metal plates before the first move was made.

Keeping her eyes closed she took hold of her blade pulling it out of the ground and placing it in a defensive way over her shoulder. The sword of the gladiator came down and clashed along with her own blade, metals collided together as Leana quickly pushed upwards to send her enemy's blade away from her. Just as she placed a foot in front of her to get up another gladiator came rushing towards her with a Greataxe up in the air. Still keeping her eyes closed she quickly dodged the attack by throwing herself to one side.

Just a second after she did another warrior came towards her attacking her with two swords as swing after swing was made. Not even attempting to deflect the attacks Leana just moved her body the dodge the attacks in total. Each swing made her take a step back but not one was even close at striking her and before long she performed a back flip to gain the distance between them. Still keeping her eyes closed and just there hearing each move she was ready for the next attack. Waiting for them to make one more move before going onto the attack.

By this point the rain had slightly picked up and a bit more than just a trickle fell from the sky's. The last attacker approached her with his weapon drawn but yet it didn't make a noise and only the shifting of the sand gave the man away. Then just like a thunder strike the sound of the wind braking, splitting almost filled her ears giving her the instinct to move to the side quickly. Leana narrowly dodged the attack but the weapon soon changed its course as it came from the ground upwards towards her.

Only by a rain drop she moved to try to dodge it again but was unlucky enough to get caught in the attack. Sharp metal cut the skin like a knife through butter over her face and across her eye making her move very quickly backwards. Holding a hand to her face but feeling that her eye is ok she opened her left eye. Her right eye covered the her own blood she noticed the weapon and for that second she froze. No anger or anything towards the attacker for landing the hit but shock and slight fear on the weapon.

The scythe dripped slightly of her own blood onto the brown dark sand underneath them as the solid silver blade shined in the rain. Shaking her head and concentrating on fight again she took a breath of air in to steady herself. Almost in a meditating state of mind as soon everything around her went almost quiet. The sound of people yelling out soon became nothing as the rain drops stopped echoing through her ears. Then just a single drop landed on her shoulder armour the sound pinged through her ears.

Now was the time to go onto the attack as Leana targeted which one would be the first. Picking her target she ran towards them with her blade in her right hand ready to block the first attack. As expected the Greatsword user swung the giant sword towards Leana's side but this was dodged as she dropped to the floor, sliding along the sound she sliced at the man's leg before getting up to finish the job. Just as the blade landed inside his neck everything felt like time just slowed for that second but she moved onto the next being.

Yanking the blade clean out of his neck and turning around she could see the Giantaxe coming down upon her and just like before she dashed to the side. Having dodged the huge weapon and knowing that there is a little bit of time before they could strike again she took the advantage. The sword cut right through the beings hands before it was directed towards there throat. Again everything felt like time had just slowed down as the blood flowed out of his neck. All that was left were two more and the fight would be over.

The scythe user came towards her first but before any swings were made she tripped him up and went for the dual sword user. Her blade swung violently against his blade as the man desperately tried to block each attack. The sound of consent metal clashing with metal filled the air and the crowd went wild for the fight. Just as the scythe user looked to where the fighting was after getting himself back up to his feet the man that Leana was fighting laid in his own blood. Leana was looking down at him for a moment before turning to the scythe user. Last one standing.

Placing her blade towards him ready for him to attack first and expecting something usual the man smirked at her. A sudden move he made put Leana off her concentrating as he threw the scythe towards her. Seeing the blade moving towards her she quickly moved to the ground hoping to dodge the weapon to attack herself. Narrowly missing her she looked up just to see a man in the air with one of the swords from the fallen. Acting as quick as she can Leana lunged at him with her sword first but was soon put to the floor.

Each blow was dealt with crushing power behind them but his sword pieced through her upper right armour on her left arm. Gritting her teeth she pushed hers further into him until the hilt guard was touching him and the blade was through his back. The blow went straight through his heart and killing him in moments as Leana took a breath of air out of the pain. Shoving the body to one side and taking her sword back she quickly acting on the one in her arm. For her this was a way of training and soon she would be free from Muriels grip.

Re: Leana Dawn

Everything just went from bad to worse as Leana was back in a cell once again but maybe the last time. She had made loads of different mistakes in the past but this one was one that even Leana thought there was no getting out off. Thinking that joining forces with Muriel and Canas would make that witch of a devil stop hurting people close to her, she never thought about the other consequences that might happen. The unity triangle embedded on the back of both her hands trademarking her as a canite was more than enough to cause problems.

Leaning up against the back wall and only wall to her cell Leana crossed her arms and legs over trying to remain as calm as she can be. Loosing the fight to Fynye just proved that even joining someone who promised you power was all but a lie. All that Leana had achieved in this was just more foolish acts that caused pain on others. Giving out a light sigh as the thoughts of what happened lingered around she closed her eyes for only a second before the sound of locks appeared. Opening her eyes she could see one of the prison guards entering the cell with a grin that could only mean trouble.

Noticing this odd grin Leana gently pushed herself off the wall and looked to the guard outside the cell. Unfortunately for her he was turning the other way as the other guard moved closer to her. Her gaze quickly changed to the man who was almost a step away. Leana didn't know what to expect but it couldn't be good not if two guards are involved. Before she could even raise a mussel the hand of the guard went around her neck and the grin changed to a more menacing and angry look. Wanting the erge to fight back but knowing that it wouldn't be the best idea she has had Leana took hold of the guards arm before his fist met her face.

A punch directed right towards her cheek and causing her head to move in the motion as her nerves shot pain through her. Another one was placed right after the first blow and Leana can hear him talking to her about a family member he lost because of the canites. The Relite woman soon found herself up against the wall with noway out as the guard started to punch her. Blow after blow was dealt to her face for what felt like minutes turned out to be only thirty seconds. The guard on the outside tapped the bars on the cell and just like that they both left her. Her right side of her face bruised and swollen from the blows she laid there for a moment before pushing herself up on the wall. Leana made the choice and now she had to pay for it.

By Yvalee Serius, documented at Ravenswatch on the the 20th Day of Rhautheims in the 642 year since the Minilsuzyan Reformation, the 48th year of the reign of Emperor Marcus IV.

We have gained official permission and access to the cell containing Canite prisoner Leana Dawn by Watchcaptain Mauro. Thus begins her treatment.

On the subject “Leana Dawn” we may conclude to be dealing with an extremely troubled specimen. The race is human but of suggested celestial origin which is to be further investigated. The connection with the divine might be one reason for the continuous irrational, shortsighted, ludicrous behavior displayed but we cannot assume at this time that it is the only reason.

A full overview of all research areas:
  • Connection to the divine and disturbances in behavior due to mixed and unclear heritage
  • Purity of blood and body, allocation of (hidden) disease
  • Brain capacity and size to diagnose a level of mental deficiency. We expect to be able to diagnose feeble-mindedness but we will not rule out imbecility
Whilst investigating we will keep our eyes open for further causes for her self-destructive tendencies.

The hypotheses underlying the proposed procedures can be (and will be) called into question; any surgical intervention can be (and will be) considered audacious and possibly counterproductive to the situation. However such arguments occupy a secondary position because it can be affirmed that these operations are not more prejudicial to either physical or psychic life of the specimen than the current situation is. Recovery or improvement will very likely be obtained, thus validating the means towards the goal. If recovery or improvement is not obtained, the specimen shall be executed without question.

Re: Leana Dawn

Every night was a struggle to get any rest at all as the cold hard floor of a cell within Ravenswatch due to the punishment Leana had been given. Looking back to the amount of pain she was going through then and on how weak she became was something that she wished as well as prayed that it will not happen again. Now within the walls of Lochwar's temple Leana's eyes glanced around the room from a weary sleep. Sleeping was still something that was difficult for her since her back was torn open by a Nine tail whip. The wounds are healing but it still isn't giving her an easy time to lay on her back.

Yvalee has been around to collect 'data' and measurements to make a device that will keep her head still while she helps her. Giving out a bit of a sigh and sitting up with the shackles still on Leana looked at the marks of Canas on her hands. Her mind once again drifted to what a complete idiot she had been, why did she join Muriels side with Canas as well as blindly pushing her friends and close ones away. Emotions of hate, anger and confusion flew around her like a woman who's day was just getting worse.

Moving her gaze towards a candle that was on the ground near to the bars of her cell the burning ember just made her feel like this will never end. Even if she came out alive her friends will not forgive her for what mistake she has done and not only that Muriel will still be hunting her. It was almost an endless cycle that was caused to make suffering and pain to only Leana and her friends. Thinking around the idea and coming down with a couple her eye darted towards the guards like as if she saw something move at the corner of her eye.

The first idea will be to leave Dasaria, find her mother on the battlefields and live with her somewhere far away. The second was to try and make up for the damage and pain that she has caused to everyone around her. Giving out a bit of a sigh before looking at a parchment with a pen nearby Leana stood up and walked over to it. Writing to her mother just in case that death was waiting for her was something that she had to do. It was hard to put your final words to someone that you love even when you know you wont see them again.

As Leana started to write she couldn't help but let a tear fall down her smooth cheek and dropping onto the hard brick floor under her. Leana had to be strong but everything was just building up to the point where she couldn't contain it inside for any longer. The never ending fight she had been fighting with Muriel had been lost as Leana started to slowly break down wanting someone to hold her. Someone to stand right beside her and tell her that everything was going to be ok but that wasn't going to happen. That same cold emptiness that she had felt for most of her life was back once again and this time it wasn't going away.
