This looks very interesting. I wonder if it will have the ability to create custom maps.

The game has been unlocked for all those who pre-ordered.

Can anyone report how viable it is for PWs?

Edit: Just read this comment on reddit:
Campaign creation is extremely limited. There's no branching dialog, and no scripting of any kind. You have a few objective types to work with, and that's it. Whatever tools were used to create the single player campaign, they're not available to players.
Disappointing, but not too unexpected, I suppose.

Oh well, just started downloading it to give it a go. Too bad it doesn't provide a toolset. Possibly in the future.

Playing through the OC.... Has potential if they release a toolkit.

It's a bit unacceptable in this day and age to not have an open world though, makes it feel like a 10 year old game. I could live with that if the dialog system wasn't NWN1-esque... hate the fade-to-black, fade-back-in every time you speak to an NPC.

Maybe my 4k display but I'm also hating the camera angle. Not sure why I customized the bridge of my character's nose if I'm always looking at him from 30 meters away.

Combat does feel more D&D-ish when using the PAUSE feature.

Setting it to pause each round makes it play better for me

Hating the gather your party from where they are lurking outside the room and de-stealth them as the convo starts more *grumble*
