Toolset and Graphical Glitches

Post by thedork »

This is driving me up the wall, the toolset has graphic glitches in it since the latest patches, the exact same as the rat sewers has in trades and commons

I can't make areas for crap anymore  The graphics are all extruded.

Occassionaly occurs in areas besides rat sewers too..

Any information from players or DM is appreciated... Especially on how to fix this

Your data is most likely corrupted, so you'll have to apply a critical rebuild and then patch again. I'm not sure where it is though; best look at the official forums.

My toolset runs fine without any glitches, so I would assume that this is caused by something that went wrong during the flawless patching system Obsidian decided to use. The very same that worked great for Bioware yet not for them, it seems.

Also, you may want to insert hyperlinks instead of text since some people, myself included, won't bother to open up another window and paste the text. You've done the same amount of work by colouring it, so might as well make it more user friendly. : )

whoops, i didn't even check if they were clickable or not, lol

and the reason i didn't do a critical rebuild to begin with, is when i first encountered it in rats i asked my friend if she got the same problem, so she came down and she did.

everyone else has been saying they have it too, but i'll try a rebuild and see how that goes

Do your rats looks messed in the toolset? Mine don't. At least not since I last checked them. I can't do it now since I'm on me laptop and it don't run games too good.

I've almost finished making a large area... was going to do something exterior, but that would take up too many resources, so made an interior dungeon with skeletons, ghosts, vampires, and the like, which start about level 8, finish level 12 or so, im still working on it and its huge so far... and ofcourse not just a typical run through kill stuff thing (as much as i can help not making it like that)... but this is really messing it up, and even if it gets fixed, i might have to start over from scratch :?

Suppose I'll be putting a few side-quests inside the dungeon.

Eh while I'm here, sometimes my interior areas have blue skies on the outside instead of black, probably just something i missed, but how do i fix that?
