Strange Bug with the Potion Shop

After exiting the potion shop I was put into some guy's party, apparently at random. That's the first time it's happend to me and I have no idea what caused it.

I've also had people randomly appear in party with me when it's just been me.

I have no clue how it happened either, I just left the party.

This is just speculation but I thought I'd point it out....if you join someone's party (or you invite someone into your party) and you are in a different zone than that person you will not see their portrait in the party roster.

Were you not in any party at the time? Is it possible that you joined a party or someone was invited into your party (by you or someone else) then you forgot about, then when you finally left the shop you noticed the new addition to your party? Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to call you dumb, this just seems very odd, and there might be another explanation.

I wouldn't of bothered posting if I was in a party at the time. Transition and bam, in a party.

EDIT: Well not entirely true, while I could see his portrait I had no option to Leave Party. He didn't respond to party chat so I'm not sure if he saw the same thing.
