Kilrux strides to a nearby poster, his face remains stern as he reads the notice, "more authority within the city, good, Cear needs to thicken the ranks." He then goes to turn away but notices a small smiley face to which he scowls and glances around for suspect, "curse all the begger children."

Reading the poster with interest, Thracius found himself lost in thought. He remembered the day Guardsmen Tren had asked him if he would like to join the city watch. How ironic that had been..... Thracius had simply said it would be unseemly for a knight to join the ranks of common soldiers - no offence intended, of course. Tren had just nodded curtly and spoke no more of it. But had he known the true reason Thracius had declined, he would have clapped him in irons and hauled him off to the gallows without a second thought.
Guardsmen Tren was a good man, Thracius mused. It was a shame that he was forced to do the work of such an evil and oppressive regime. But he knew Tren could not be saved. He was loyal, and devoted to his work, there was no way he would ever turn against the empire that he had sworn his service to. What a waste it was, that good men could be brainwashed and put to work for evil, but Thracius knew that was the very nature of the empire. He also knew that one day, he might well face Tren in battle, and he prayed that when that day came, Tyrak would lend him strength to do what must be done.
With a sigh and a heavy heart, Thracius turned away from the poster, and strode off down the street. After all, there was work to be done, and evil did not smite itself.

Maug steps into the mistyvale *a stocky gnome a bit covered in soot, a charred look about him* and as he strides past the notices, this new one catchs his eye.... pulling up a stool to stand on..he reads..
"Alas these humans their predjudices" *he mumbles*.... climbing down he looks to his boots, a look of defeat upon his face....

Iosephus learns forward slightly and speaks in a quiet calming voice “Respect commands itself. It can not be withheld when it is due. Stay faithful in the service of Etoth and it will come.”
*straightens and smiles*
“My name is Iosephus Aequitas and I was wondering if you, or the good captain might know where I might find a representative of the brotherhood of the scales.”

When there is no other way, the perilous path is the only road to salvation.
She smiles at the comments, moving another rewritten report on her "coherent" pile, listening to the question before replying in throughtful tones.
"Honestly, I would love to know that as well. People come and go, and I fear I have been rather... preoccupied of late to keep track. Actually, should you make contact with anybody of such official capacity, I would love to meet the person."
She frowns lightly, glancing about the bustling Barracks, then turns her eyes back on the man with a bright smile,
"Incidentally, have you entertained the thought of a career with the Guard, sir? Followers of Etoth are most welcome to join."

”The foundation of justice is faith. I would have thought it a requirement to be faithful to Etoth *seems to stop himself* but I digress from your question. I have spent many a night considering such a life, after all life in the service of Etoth is most rewarding, but for now I must serve in another way. I thankyou for the information, I am certain we shall meet again upon my return.”
*bows*
“May Etoth grant you wisdom,
To find the unjust.
May Etoth grant you strength,
To bring justice to them
May Etoth bless and keep you”
A warm yellow light fills the room and dissipates

She smirks lightly, looking up at the man.
"The Order of the Scales is most welcome among the Guard ranks, sir. How better to serve Etoth than by spreading his justice among the populace, as well as teaching associates its true meaning?"
She drops her gaze on another grammatically savaged report, sighing.
"Of course, familiarity of spelling and grammar would suffice, as well..."

Grumbling loudly, she notices yet another public notice missing from the place of its posting.
She glances around, as if that alone would cause the pursuant of such vandalism to make themselves present.
She shakes her head, making a mental note to prepare a few more notices for the Captain to sign.
