Where has Spirithealer been??

Post by Lenwe »

If many of you have been wondering (sha- right), I have been EXTREMELY busy in the past year. My wife and I have had a career change, we now drive a semi as a team all across the country! We recently bought a laptop and a neat PC card for mobile broadband so we can keep in touch while we're out here. I've also been ordained! Imagine me... a minister !!!!

We're out on the road now, currently about 30 miles east of Spokane, Washington headed east to western Wisconsin, then to good ol' Chicago, then home for 10 days. We've been out on this run now for almost 8 weeks, and we've hit 41 of the lower 48 states (not including Hawaii or Alaska). We need a good break :x . So luckily we'll be home in time to get NWN2 *woohoo*!

So if you live in the States, We'll probably be close to you sometime within the next month or two, since we're coming up on the busy time of the truckin' year. If you live near an interstate gimme a shout, I'm always up for a good cup o' java 8) !

Hope to see all of you ingame soon!
Blessings to all

Wow, here is ANOTHER one with an excuse to take 1 level monk/19 cleric. Bloody powerbuilders.

Great to hear from you again, Spirit and good to hear you and your wife are enjoying the open road. Don't be a stranger and if you are ever cruising up/down I-94 heading towards/from Wisconsin, let me know.

I think that is one of the least likely things I expected to hear.

However, I do envy you for one thing, I would love to have seen as much of this country as your getting to see even if its mostly just from the interstate.
I'm always right. I'm also a jerk. It's not my fault you can't get over the latter to see the former.

Actually, all of my monks were pure 20, I just cant give up "Perfect Self" Although I did test a 16/4 monk/assn offline, but it just didn't do it for me :P

As for going through Wisconsin, we'll be heading through there monday afternoon/evening sometime on our way to the windy city. I-94 E to US 12 E to Chicago. Then hopefully on to Columbus, OH via US-30 through IN/OH on our way home.

On a side note, I have been to all Lower 48 states, and I have seen some truly beautiful and amazing sights from the interstates and other US and state routes. Once I cough up the loot for a digital camera, I can post up some purdy pix. For instance, this morning coming across northern Idaho just east of Coeur D'Alene, the sun was starting to peek up through the clouds covering the trees. So there was this awe-inspiring sight of the orange/pink morning sun gleaming through mist covered mountains, sprinkling light onto the pine forest. I wish I had a camera then !

you guys cant normally see that? you all live with a tarp over your heads?

i can understand city dwelers not seeing a nice sun set/rise with pink streaks through the clouds and a baby blue sky, but i find it hard to imagine you dont get veiws like that everywhere else? none of you have a national park or anything like that near you?

You haven't seen a sunset until you've seen one through the horribly polluted california sky. And for once I'm not even joking. They are gorgeous in all of their unnatural wonder.

If you ever get out to the best Commonwealth in the Country (that be Virginia for all those folks who didn't know), especially around the Washington DC metro area, drop me a line, if you have the time, I'll show you some of the sights.
