My Magic Spoon

Post by Jehu »

I just have to say thank you to everyone (I'm assuming that more than just 1 person was involved with making it) who created/implemented Marak's quest with the magic spoon and the vampires. It's the little details that make it completely fantastic. My favorite was the picture in the bedroom at the end. Goddamn I'm still giggling to myself right now about it ... It might even inspire a dream tonight if I'm lucky.

You can heap praise on Depheant to inflate his already enlarged ego for that qust.

Kudos. That quest has been so well received. The man has some talent, dispite having the diplomacy of a sledgehammer.

While it's true I designed the quest, it wouldn't work at all if it wasn't for the work that a certain scripter did for it as well; so my thanks to him.

It's nice to see threads like this, since it more or less acknowledges the work that we do. Threads that come up far too rarely. Glad you enjoyed the quest.

That's the best kind of diplomacy; it's irrefutable. :D

The first time i did that quest i was literally laughing my arse off, thats really rare,Kudos to the developers!

Thats what i love about Dasaria..the world feels so much more alive then any other PW i have tried. I've met so many great folks here that there is no way i can even think about going anywhere else.

P.S. i tend to whine a bit about griefers (maybe too much) but i think thats because someone is trying to soil Dasaria and even though im just a face in the crowd it really does feel like my home and i take those attacks personally..prolly too personally.

it's just another thing that makes me want to spend less time working on my house and more time living in our co-operative imagination :)

I wasn't saying any names.. but I think we've tried to exit the city to find some poor new character trying to escape back into town.

A very enjoyable quest indeed!

It is the little touches like this which will keep me exploring the wonderful world of Dasaria II.

I don't think you want every quest like this, but a bit of humour is great to enhance the immersive experience.

Escaping. Now that is something I have done but as far as using the guards to kill my wolves. Not. (when rhode was much younger he would leave traps for the folks that did that repeatedly)

I will have to make up a new character at some point just to try the vamp vs spoon quest. It sounds like fun.
