Hi, this should require 12 ranks in Craft armour right? ( 2ac from heavy shield +10 ranks from being mithral =12? ) Can't seem to get it to work.

Dasaria's recipes are not the same as the official campaign's. The DC for creating an adamantine shield will be different.

I don't pay attention to the DC much, but if you need a shield I can make you one. PM in you are interested.

Well my friend in game can craft Mithral Full Plate, and not a Mithral Heavy shield...with the way crafting works the Plate is DC 18, and the shield should be DC 12......somethings wrong. :S

A mithral shield is more valuable than mithral full plate, thus it's more difficult to make.

a piece of armor that stacks with just about everything and has no spell failure vs improved version of breastplate. I think the shield IS more valuable.
Insanity has been kind to me, but no longer.

Depends on who is wearing either of them
in this case yes actually, the shield is worth more to me than Mithral armour would be, but not perhaps as useful to my dual wielding rogue ^_^

I wasn't stating an opinion of value. The shield has a higher base cost than the armor.
in this case yes actually, the shield is worth more to me than Mithral armour would be, but not perhaps as useful to my dual wielding rogue ^_^
