Rant: My neighbors
Indian food is good. I enjoy it. Indian sauces are delicious. But you need to realize that indian saunce appearing in empty 2L bottles of coke on our front door step looks like someone puked in a bottle of coke and decided to keep it.
Also, don't get offended when we throw it out. How do you even figure out that we're not eating the "puke in a bottle"? Do you root through our trash? It must be because you keep saying things like "Aww... Ya didn't eat the sauce I made for you?" the next day. Which leads me to three reasons you could know this.
1) You root through our trash.
2) You puked in a bottle and expect one of the family to be sick.
3) You made something that you expect to affect the family in noticable ways.
None of those are pleasant. I love indian food, especially the breads and stuff. Is it too much to ask for you to put the stuff in a container that doesn't make the sauce look like diahrea? OR just put a label on it detail what the hell is IN the damn bottle?
Thank you.

Just be happy you didn't move into an apartment that had been previously inhabited by an indian family.
I have nothing against indian food, but it's not exactly a scent that ages well. Took me months, and a lot of febreeze to get the indian food smell out. Of course then I realized it was covering up the distinct smell of cigarette smoke.
Took a while, but my apartment is finally smell neutral.

I'm always right. I'm also a jerk. It's not my fault you can't get over the latter to see the former.

I had a similar experience while hanging out in downtown Miami. A Cuban guy who apparently thought he knew me began talking to me in Spanish as he smiled and nodded alot. I sort of shrugged a held my hands up as if to say "I have no idea what you are saying." He then nodded again, walked around the corner, and quickly returned with an open bottle of beer. He offered it to me with a smile. I wasn't sure what to do. I certainly didn't want to drink it, but I also didn't want to offend the guy, so I accepted it with a nod and walked away casually. When I was out of sight behind a few cars, I set the bottle on the ground and left it there. Later, the man tapped me on the shoulder, frowning and pointing at the bottle he'd given me still resting a few yards away on the sidewalk. I once again put up my hands and shook my head to signal my cluelessness. The man uttered a few more words in his native tongue, waved his hand at me, and stormed off. What did he expect, honestly? I never go to Miami anymore. It's full of weirdos.

It is common for people in other cultures to re-use glass because they see it as wasteful to throw away or recycle such materials. I completely agree with them and don't see why a glass bottle full of sauce is so off-putting.
Quit bein such a wussy and eat that ****! Its prob better than the restaurants in your town. There are other foods besides Moose ya know!

If you don't know what it is, and it's in a plastic bottle, and it doesn't look remotely like soda, stay the loch away from it.

If I don't know what's in it, I don't eat or drink it. And if I barely or don't know the people I was given it by, I wont even have to consider eating or drinking it. There are too many messed up things being throw in drinks overhere. I'd rather not play with my life like that.
...I'm sure it was a very nice gesture though.
