Looks like a startup crash fix for a bug that involved securom.

Drat. Installed through the auto-update app it as part of a general revamp and now I can't connect to Das.

Anyone have a link to an uninstall, as per the betas, or do I just need to wait?

From what I read about it, this isn't far off... the "hot fix" disables the ability to skip the Atari and Obsidian product logo screens in addition to 'fixing' the boot crash issue (which it seems to have not really done in some cases *shrug*)

Ok, I am totally confused as to what to do exactly to fix this whole..."hot fix" thing....I downloaded the latest...patch...and now I cannot connect online. I am blonde, so, please forgive me in advance!!
