Based on some of the comments on this thread I would like to say, for the record, that I for one have played World of Warcraft and I don't care what you think that means.

As the person that said most of the stuff about World of Warcraft, I would like to point out that I too have played WoW, quite a bit actually, along with lots of other MMO games like FFXI, Lineage II and Guild Wars. You've clearly got the wrong end of the stick.

I never, at any point said that WoW was a bad game, or that there was anything wrong with people who played it. All I'm saying is that Das II is not WoW, and we don't need to 'WoWify' it to make it good. That said, some of the suggestions weren't actually that bad, I was merely pointing out that almost all of them were identical to game mechanics used in WoW.

So have I. I still have nightmares about it. My addiction was a really serious one and i had a couple months that i played WoW every wake hour. Damn i fear that game. Glad i threw the CDs into a river, even if i'm regretting that decision every now and then. At least now i have some fragments of life .

For the record, I've quit wow 3 times, and deleted all my characters 2 times. I wonder if 4th and 3rd times are coming with WotLK. *shudders*

Still, opposing something just because it has similarities to WoW is kinda stupid if there isn't any real arguments behind.

Bumping thread back on track...

Would like to see some more class items, particularly bard instruments that have cool and amazing effects (like longer song durations, or more songs, or mezz effects, or party enhancement effects a la Legionnaire's March, or possibly some combination) to compensate for the bard being taken out of combat to play the instrument.

This would allow the unique bard class to realize it's calling rather than be a weak combatant.

Allright this one's gone on 10 pages, has been some great discussion, lots of off-topic fun as well, but I think it's run it's course.

Some of these ideas have already gone into the game since this started, others are in the works. We've definitely plenty of ideas for the next PWC and plenty more that can enter as-developed.

At some point I'd like to post a re-cap of how many of these have actually gone in over time, but I'd like to tie this particular thread up for now, there's more than enough to do here for now.
