You've outdone yourselves.

Heartfelt thanks, DM and building Staff. Your creation is nothing short of brilliant.

You guys should be proud of what you've put together, congradulations on it's success so far. I'm impressed on how in depth some of the quests are. Good job guys. :D

Absolutely correct!

I really love the level of detail and the general feel of Cear. The street signs are a great touch. Keep up the great work guys. Oh, and take a break, you deserve it.

I really like the main city, though it could use a few notes on the map to see what all the buildings are and where roads would lead to.

Overall, it seems to be more polished than a lot of the servers I tried so far.

We decided to leave the map notes to force the exploration of the city. The active doors are purposely spread out, as are the quests attached to them. Depending on player opinion, this approach may change, but don't expect it to be overnight. Thanks for the compliments, it is good to hear the effort has been worthwhile.

I am just curious, how long have you guys been working on this project? Have you reused any of Das1 stuff?

We started actual building the moment the pre-release toolset was available. And yes, we have steadily been picking the Dasaria 1 carcass clean (scripts mainly) to try to get some reuse out of what was developed for that campaign.

Hey, just a thought, but is there anyway to have the locations pop up on the map as part of the Ambassador's Quest? I won't name the locations as to preserve the integrity of the quest (iow, do the quest, you won't get spoilers from me!). So, as you explore, they would appear?

Well it's looking awesome, I am very impressed what bunch of amateurs can do if there is a will.

This reminds me of the Counter Strike (original) project. How two guys changed the way the first point shooter games have gone.

Just as an aside to my last post, I too was amazed at the layout, # of shops, etc. in the main city of Cear. As well, the level of detail of the city itself is amazing to me. You guys worked really hard, but I wonder how much sleep you must have gotten.. because it looks just amazing.. better, I think, than I expected.

The other thing that simply stunned me was the number of quests. Compared to Das1, there are so many low level quests that you don't even need to leave the city for (or go very far to complete). I still have tons left to do I know.

I'm so happy!

Eventually we will be putting in the experience for exploration (e4e) script where this will occur.

Random thought...what if the tour of the city quest put an item into your inventory that at least puts the map points for places you've been onto your map?
