"Believe what you want to believe sir but I know what I heard." Rhode addressed the guard. "I am sure you would not want to have been mistaken in her loyalties. Perhaps she should be taken in and questioned to clear up any missunderstanding although that paper she torn off the door should be proof enough."

The guard, after digesting the explaination, nods.
"See it reaches his hand, citizen. And in the future, might I suggest that under Article 2, Section 6, paragraph 3, subparagraph 8, no public notices are to either be removed or posted, without the express permission of the respective District Governmental Office. Defacement of said notices will also be treated as a breach of said notice, and penalties shall be extracted in a manner that is befitting of the nature of the crime."
"You would do well to remember that, citizen. Good day."

The dark haired lass hears that with a look of almost comic bewilderment on her face. She rubs her ears and looks at one of the patrons next to her.
"I be hearin his words, but I be damned if I can tell ya what he jist said."

Smiling angelicly at the guard, Celintra nodded. "Thank you sir. I shall take it into the Captain immediately." She pushed the Inn door open, calling out the Captain's name as she disappeared into the darkness of the Inn.

Standing shaded under the bough of a tall Elm nearby, the slender figure of the green-clad Druid leans upon his staff, silent and motionless, watching the exchange outside the tavern. The young boar curled up at his feet sniffs a fallen leaf inquisitively, before dropping his head back down onto the ground to rest.
It makes you wonder, if any sense is left in this *glorious* Empire. Said with a tint of sarcasm.
Though clearly the law, *wise* as it may be, dictates no weapons be brandished inside the city walls - one would assume, applicable to civilians only - it does nothing but waste precious time that the *more than competent* authorities could use to sort out real crimes. Murder, vice. Theft.
Not a broken wheel, or an axe above a burning fireplace.

You spot that the list of those who have committed legal transgressions appears longer. The additions are as follows:
6. A halfling of fair skinned complexion and brown hair named Drugo was named suspect in an act of thievery outside of the Inn and caught red handed in another act of thievery.
7. A gray haired male human with the ability to cast Eldritch Blast was the victim of Drugo's second act of thievery. Instead of reporting it to the town guards, he took matters into his own hands and committed the act of murder. Not only did he refuse to turn himself in for this act, he even refused to divulge his name and eluded capture from the guards at the city gates.

William ordered another of Mistyvale's finest, and can't help but crack a smile at Wingnut. The gnome had been a very capable ally in the dangerous crypts, and Will hadn't forgotten that it was Wingnut who had led them to its location in the first place.
The gnome had some dark power, that much was apparent by anyone who travelled with Wingnut. But instead of being wary of Wingnut's capabilities, William had come to trust in them, as he trusted in Grayle, Boris, and even the mute orc brute that Will swore he'd guess his name before he graduated from being a meager adept of the city's lore.
"No, my good friend," William commented aside from his drinking, "There's nothing new happening here. But I'd keep my eye on her, she could be a useful addition to our merry crew the next time we go dungeoneering." He quirked a dark brow at Wingnut's packs, "Then again, you seem to be doing well on your own there." He turned his back to the common room and set his drink on the bar while staring into its contents in thought.

Ty'ir enters the tavern, his staff strapped to his back. The young boar tries to squeeze through the gap, trying to make a bolt for the warmth of the roaring fireplace. A few stern clicks of his tongue stop the creature in its tracks. With a glance at his master, he slinks back outside, dissapearing into the grass foraging for whatever it is young boars like to eat.
Stepping up to the end of the bar, he nods to Wing and Boris and guestures to the Innkeep, quietly placing an order for a tankard of ale.

You notice further additions to the list:
8. A human of fair complexion, dark hair, and full beard named Dale refused to holster his mace within the city limits. He later apologized and vowed not to do it again but the violation still stands.
9. Valeran, an elf with fair complexion and brown hair, had his blade out in town. He cooperated and sheathed with his apologies.
10. Andus Falier is running a moonshining operation out of his basement.

11. Sych, a human with brown hair and fair complexion brandished his spear inside the inn and was very rude while asked to put it away. He even delivered a writ to the barkeep while holding the spear. He then repeated this act many hours later carrying a crossbow in the commons.
12. A half-orc with green complexion and long side burns brandished his club inside the inn. He put it away upon request.
13. Eren, a human male of light complexion with brown hair brandished his sword in the commons. He was very apologetic and immediately cooperated but ignorance is no excuse.
14. Rashan, a human male of light complexion brandished his sword in the commons, in the north outskirts of town, and in the inn. He was very defiant and refused to even acknowledge calls to sheath his weapon. Finally, hours later, at another chance meeting he cooperated.

*Connor leans back against the bar watching Raymond add to the increasing long list of offenders, pulling out a large dagger he starts peeling and eating a fresh apple*
