Tel'gothrim Thoughts
Cythis was on his way back to Cear to test the power once again of the Vigilo. He wanted to see Phelan threaten him again, openly in town, with death. Korgov Valley was distant from Cear...the road was full of many things that gave Cythis an outlet to release his ever growing hatred toward the knights. However he need to be in Cear and meet one of his contacts as that was often a central point for business. "Wish that damn gnome would come to me instead, " he thought. Passing thru the Valley of the Druid, Cythis could smell something out of the ordinary, however, it alerted his senses. When he was a child he grew up with the worship of Tiamat. In some of the ceremonies they would have scales of a dragon or crawls that were found. Pending on the type of dragon, it would smell of smoke to an awful musk smell. His nose caught that memory once again, something of brimstone.....he started noticing tracks way bigger then the defenders of the forest that the druids call upon. "Dragons!"
"I might hate Cear, but I sure can't turn this battle down!"

Re: Tel'gothrim Thoughts
Cythis after once again feeling the enlightenment and force of the fleet left confused from his conversation with Nara. "Why should I be ashamed of Saura Taure?"
Kneeling down on the pile of skulls in caves of the cow men, "What cause should make me feel ill over my superior birth? Does a prince loathe being born into his father's Kingdom?"
Cythis seemed to hold fleeting thoughts at the wrong times, when his focus should have been on his enemies lurking in the shadows. These walking cows were slowly surrounding him. Cythis still deep in thought wearing a puzzled mask. Almost slowly coming back to reality, Cythis's grip tightened on his scythe once again bringing him back to his present pressing situation. The Alpha cow lunged in with a over swing trying to smash the dark elves head in but was met with a parry by the handle of the scythe. However, the mere force knocked Cythis to the ground, stealing the wind from his chest the other cow men advanced. Death at this time was inviting, choking on air was not something Cythis was a fan of, nor would he ever wanted to be known for dying in this fashion. Cythis released his magical darkness in a last attempt to dodge any and all incoming blows from the enemy. The minotaurs were adapt at seeing in low light, but darkness blinded them as well Cythis.
Cythis felt his foot explode in agony as a club came crashing down and breaking it. Cythis started to roll as he knew they had a good idea of where he was. Even though he was now at a huge disadvantage there own swings and force were going to turn on them. He didn't' need eyes to locate them though, there smell was strong enough to know the distance. He could hear there foreign tongue chatter increase and then he heard smack! Something dropped next too him writhing on the ground. Cythis slowly picked up his scythe and cleaved threw too it. Feeling the warm blood glaze him he knew he struck true. He could hear the ground pounding with clubs and hoofs. The others in there attempt where hitting each other to find him. Cythis pulled from his bag a potion and he tried to drink every drop. His pain was searing, but he remained silent.
"Alexander's potions are running low - need to get more."
The burning ceased and the bones slowly were fusing together. Cythis now could get a good stance to try and behead or sunder their throats. The pounding and swinging was almost a perfect rhythm and he danced to and threw it to the center of his darkness. Over the years, his darkness increase with power and to see threw it would be impossible for most unless with magical means.
Cythis dropped this shield. Grabbed his scythe with two hands and jump in the air with a full arc swing and was rewarded with the gurgles of sound and thick blood that sprayed all over him in his landing. Knowing that half of the enemies just met his blade, he rolled out of the darkness and readjusted his eyes. These beast stood very high, there horns gave them away. Cythis remember his battles with the barbarians and almost went back to it. Five of them were still swinging and occasional another would hit each other. His darkness was reaching it's limit and soon he would be in sight.
Cythis from behind swing across the ankles of his enemies, felling them like a tree. "Hooves.....a new trophy of mine." Cythis smirked. Running around the perimeter of the darkness he stole one hoof from each minotaur. The moans of pain and shock rose as his darkness dissipated. Cythis saw his painting he creating with the dying moving statues. Such artwork was short lived. Walking amongst them, he allowed them to suffer in silence as he picked up his shield in the middle of the pile. "I still got it." They gave Cythis a good fight. They gave him there best.
Cythis was glad to leave the cave and walked towards Tristan. Food was on his mind and the Misty was too far away.

Re: Tel'gothrim Thoughts
Cythis's recent activity of being brought back out of retirement was starting to show. The amount of miles his boots had on them was days worth of running back and forth from caves, towns, and hunting food. Cythis could feel his calf muscles once again like he used to have them, strong and tone.
The walk from Tristan to Cear was coming to a close. Cythis became found of the service of the Misty Inn, as when he was there and payed in gold he felt like it was the only place he never felt hatred against. However, he often wondered if they spit in his soup.
However Cythis had been in situations where he had to eat way worse to survive. Wrot Grubs came to mind. Leaving the Misty Inn so early in the day, Cythis endured his daily light transition that would almost bring him to tears. "Damn Sun!" Cythis bitched. He needed to buy some supplies and trade. He headed to Ealden. After haggling Ealden down to the lowest amount he could, he turned away and saw standing before him a young human warrior. This one had hate in his eyes and pride.
Violence Debee was known amongst the town to cause trouble with his brothers, but time he had his weapons drawn with there flames from the magical enchantment. "I have been told Cythis you called me a coward!" Violence was known for just that, trying to intimidate his victims. Something however Cythis had occurred many times before and during his stay at Cear.
"Not to lie Violence, but I called you and all of your brothers cowards to be truthful." The look he saw in Violence's eyes were more then priceless because this young human was so easy to manipulate into a fight. He would note that fact for later purposes. "However I am happy you care about my opinion, as not many people do." Cythis remarked.
"I care nothing for your opinion." Violence replied. "I will be seeing you soon."
Cythis knew that the Debee brothers all be waiting to ambush him. He opted to stay within the walls of Cear. "Maybe I can take it easy today," he thought. "Yes, I think I will." A grin poke threw his lips.

Re: Tel'gothrim Thoughts
The moon greeted Cythis's eyes as he welcomed it nightly, however all was not at peace with him. Cythis's reputation amongst the humans was at best vile, however he wasn't yet kicked out of the empire. Amongst the Tel'gothrim, he though held a position of high stature due to the fact that he was the welcome for the Tel'gothrim and the recruiter for the Tel'gothrim empire. He had his own network of spies within the rebellion, which he placed leads on even others of his own kind. Accept one - Naril.
Cythis used nature as his own defense against his enemies. He welcomed the local wolves into his ruins in Korgov Valley. If the living entered he would know way in advance. Even the shadow thieves could not hide there scent or heart beat. Cythis was in his chambers lifting difference size rocks to help keep his strength up. When he heard the wolves barking and pounding outside. The voice was definitely a dark elf, screaming. He grabbed his shield and scythe and ran up his broken steps to challenge the visitor. He rolled the rock out of the way and unlocked the gate and he saw a dark elf female standing shivering in the cold rain drenched ......with one signature weapon held, a scythe.
"Come in Cytheria" Cythis quickly knocking her scythe out of her hands and he noticed there was no resistance. She seemed to almost welcome death with the look she gave him.
"We have much to talk about daughter." Cythis firmly starred at her. "But first you will head to your old quarters and settle down for the night." Inspecting her armor, he could see it was relatively battle fresh, with traces of heavy magic and the smell of lightning and ash upon her. "Messing with the guards again Cytheria?" Again, Cythis eying her.
"No sir." Cytheria coward laying her head low in humiliation.
"And Naril?" Cythis inqured.
"Dead sir...." Cytheria's voice drift out like a moan from the dead.
"Naril is dead?" Cythis's eyes dropped, his heart sank......with a deep sigh, the breath left his body. "How?"
"Maelstrom!" Cytheria said biting her lip.
"You will need to stay here for now, and under my orders not leave. Damn Naril and his failure. The power struggle amongst the dark elves is going to fuel." Cythis regained his composure and disposition. Being a dark elf he was used to seeing many of his kind with great power die and turn to ash. Cythis knew of the stories of Maelstrom, but had no clue as too what this threat could do at full force.
"Go to your quarters now, you however will not be needing this." Cythis picked up her scythe and headed to his quarters to lock up her scythe. He saw that it was highly magical. "All of the children seem to return to the roost sooner or later." Cythis mocked as he walked off. Cythis felt like a father again, could this have been a blessing in some foul way?

Re: Tel'gothrim Thoughts
Cythis's time had finally come to address his issue with the humans. The fleet was lagging heavily at getting back with him, so he took it higher. "May Tiamet be at my side this day," he prayed. He walked into the private chambers facing yet an enemy and key person. The fire light brought out the red in the armor of the human standing in front of it. Out of respect and too keep the meeting positive he left his own armor, shield, helm, and scythe in the other room. He could not have anything detouring his purpose for it. However, could he convince the Regent.

Re: Tel'gothrim Thoughts
On his visit to Cear he ran into an unfortunate episode. Tiny little gear devices surrounded him and other Cear citizens and started attacking. Cythis in defense helped destroy them. But as humankind seems to always interact with his dark race, he once again found another encounter.
Many of the ungrateful humans started mocking him. Cythis would not settle for this. He came up to the half breed Lumme and decked him in the face. Thinking that would solve the situation and teach a lesson, Cythis believed that was it. However, yet another human (OOC nightshade) yelled out in front of many townsfolk, that he would place a 20 empire bounty on his head.
Cythis new the mentality of a human mob and how crazy it could get for something as simple as gold. The human threw the bag of gold close to the feet of Violence, one of the Debee brothers. Violence Debee wasn't friendly with the darkling race either. The amount of money that was dropped was hard for anyone to resist. Even someone that Cythis could normally intimidate just by looking at them firmly. He had to do something quick. Staring down this rich foolish human, Cythis extended his scythe out and hooked the bag of gold and tore threw the crowd surrounding him. Cythis truly wished he could have seen their faces as he legally took the bounty out on his own head.
This is where diplomacy would help him. Cythis thought, "I wonder how much 18 empires could help improve a grand library?"

Re: Tel'gothrim Thoughts
A master of his blade, Cythis truly was. He lived and breathed the limits of the scythe and created no boundaries for it as well with each new battle. One might believe his soul could help shape the damage that such a weapon could lay. However, like having an extension to his hand with such a weapon when one experiences the inability to use his it, they suffer an internal turmoil.
Cythis's weapon was greatly enchanted with powerful magic. Enough that his hands could not even handle. Like a horse that looses his legs, he cannot run nor experience the freedom of what the land offers. Cythis started getting depressed as he had another issue. The scythe was not a readily available weapon, that was often seen. Cythis's depression sank. It took him a full week to find one, after dealing with a farmer. "Anything is better then nothing," Cythis gripping the unbalanced scythe to try and gain a feel for the unseasoned weapon. "It will see much blood though....soon enough."

Re: Tel'gothrim Thoughts
Cythis's recent travels brought him to the lawless lands of Morell. Cythis have been on the ship there many times more though so as a tourist. Cythis never really tried to see what the land had to offer me. So he paid the captain to shuttle him there too finally see if he could spill blood on this soil as well.
The village of Cear was at best quite static. Cythis truly was still in depression over the magic that infused his scythe unusable. He knew one day, his hands could contain it. However....even with his resistance to the great magic, it sent agonization pain down his arm. It was some time since Cythis had a good meal. And he realized that someone recently stole his rations of food. This brought great concern to Cythis. Such a small thing could be the end of such a warrior. "Damn shadow dancers...they better hope I never learn there trade." Cythis started finding perfect ambushes and traps all thru the hills and cliffs that this terrain provided. Thought of turning cannibal did race thru his head. There was enough low life Morell fotter that he could feast off of. However, the mere thought of returning to such a vile act as he was once forced to do made his stomach turn.
Cythis at this point was getting somewhat lost. Also he was very ill prepared. His farming scythe already started to creak and he could tell that the durability of it would soon fade and he would have to buy yet another scythe. "Maybe the crooks have some gold on them. Yes....then I will have enough to get a new one." Deciding to find some cover and shelter, as the night poured in. Cythis could see all of his enemies around him. However, not all of them, could see him. The land was the worst threat. He remembered of a time when a fellow soldier of his that he lay close too awoke with wrot grubs covering him. But again, the vivid nightmare was to much to relive and he decided to try and lay still and stay at the ready.
"Tiamet, take me into your talons please and end my cruel pain!" The night become colder and Cythis took off his armor. As it was starting to make him even more uncomfortable. The thought of his enemies bleeding there warmth blood over him from his blade was absolutely desirable at this time. "Bring me your best Morell!" he screamed, but tripping over one of the rocks and landing face first into deep blackness. He awoke hours later, as the warmth of the day light came. Cythis had a huge bruise on his forehead. He could feel it. "This will need the hands of Alex."
Cythis identified some berries that he believed were safe to eat and he gained some energy to start moving again. Cythis started walking up the hill and noticed something very odd. A walking stone creature. "Madness I tell you...the first living editable thing I can eat......and it is made of stone!" Cythis charged the beast in pure rage and began to swing and laugh as the stone cow simply did not even feel the prick of his weapon. Repeatedly he tried to puncture it. As giving up was an option, Cythis struck it with all of his force and finally felt the reward of death spray him in the face.
Cythis field dressed the cow, and even though it was sloppy, he still was able to also start a fire. The joys of food were as if he had 10 women to do with ....anything to them. He began to eat the strange creature and then heard a blood curdling battle cry, as two dark figures approached him.

Re: Tel'gothrim Thoughts (Kadmiel encounter)
Cythis was hell bent on finding this beast known as Greywolf. He had many ideas of killing him and turning his head personally into Marcus. He knew though that the deserter of the Vigilo was no easy target, but such a prize might exonnerate his daughter Cytheria from the fate of the empire. He spoke of his plans to Alexander to hear his advice. "There is something special with that one Cythis, do not harm him." He would be able to help you out more with your daughter alive then you trying to end his.
Cythis thought it over and tried to analyze these words. The only thing he could come up with was that maybe, this Greywolf would take on Marcus himself. Only a thought though. The last time Cythis witnessed Greywolf was a run in near Tristan along though with him, was Phelan. This was not the time.....
Cythis told Alexander that he wouldn't kill Greywolf. However, he still wanted to find him none the less. Cythis went to the Valley of the Minotaurs screaming for the Coward to show himself. "Humans are so easy to manipulate"
Finally down the path, a figured closed in. Sword and shield at the ready. Silent it still approached.
"My name is Cythis, and my intentions were to kill you....." he paused to verify his mark. "Are you in fact the Greywolf?"
Cythis explained to him, the reason why he dare seek Kadmiel out. But Cythis this close to such a great adversary could not contain his hunger any longer. Alexander would shame him for knowing that rest.
"I am sorry Greywolf, but a challenge has to happen, now! It has been too long since I have tasted it.....the shadow dancers and kalem rogues are not worthy of my scythe. But you are...."
Cythis remembers disbelieve broke from Kadmiel, but he finally accepted the challenge. Kadmiel struck down Cythis with such divine force that he never remember the rest of the battle. However, he awoke to Kadmiel kicking him away and he knew whom the better was.
In rage and remaining honorable, he dropped one of his most powerful swords ever between them both and ran in shame. Cythis knew he could never face such a foe again, as yes, there was something special about him. Cythis would try smaller fish to fry.

Re: Tel'gothrim Thoughts
With his important meeting with the Illythiiri going so well, his enemies would never have a chance to know what truly took place. Misdirection was what he was going for. "Finally, my people will rise and Tiamet will rain once again down upon us and block the sun from our eyes." Cythis was just waiting for his fair Illythiiri to come with more news about his plan. "They all will rue the day that they stopped fearing me and my kind." Leaving the same type of satisfation he got when he would bring up SauraTaure around the Rian born elves, Cythis knew his new design would be upon that same level. Glancing at his daughter Cytheria, "Get me my cloak child! I have a very long and treacherous trek up a hill to one of your old friends.....just make sure he doesn't remember whom your father is!" Contemplating bringing other dark elves, Cythis then remember to inform her "Cytheria, when Saura our lovely asssassin comes around, have her seek out the wife of that bastard Debee family." Cythis pausing, "We need some information from her, tell the troll that we'll give her 10 crowns."

Re: Tel'gothrim Thoughts
Cythis was making his normal passage to Cear from the Maw and he was screamed at by a raging maniac, holding the head of what looked to be a young man. "Hahahahaha you stupid pit elf! Your kind will pay!" The human then ran off. Cythis was startelled but was in no immediet danger. He had fought greater menaces then this before.
However moving further down the road he came across the remains of the human's body. What looked to be that of a knight of Tharon. The scale mail was torn open though, with the breast exposed and carved into the young man's chest was the words "Terror Knife".
Cythis looked to see if anyone else was around, as he did not want to be blamed for the murder of this human. Cythis rolled the body off of the main road and covered it up to keep it somewhat out of site. But as always, the dead alert themselves by sight or smell to the unweary traveller. "Terror knife.....I'll remember that for later."

Re: Tel'gothrim Thoughts (Passion)
Things started going as planned. His vile Illythiiri sisters started showing promise to his belief system and saw much of what could be gained by diplomacy with the right people. But he started to have a flame of demonic passion for one of his most untrusted associates. He couldn't help it. Cythis would avoid much contact with her as he would offer his life and scythe for anything this living succubus wanted, he would not show such things to her. He often thought it was a dance around a fire, involving sword and both them laying attacks and parrying constantly. However in this case it seemed more like they were dancing around a pile of skulls. Cythis knew though when the time comes, he will just be another soul added to her collection. Cythis remained content with this thought though. "Seems fitting for me, doesn't it Tiamet?"

Re: Tel'gothrim Thoughts (the duel pt 1)
Cythis saw Bulrik before walking drunk thru the city streets and even harassing the locals. It mattered very little to him as Cythis saw the empire as an issue himself. However, Cythis being an Illythiiri, hating many races. Disdained hearing anyone talk down to women. Especially ones that he spoke with on a common basis.
Cythis entered passed the gates of Cear. And saw Lana Debee there. She though had on a new outfit. A red dress that showed a great deal more then what he remembered ever seeing before of her. He made his usual small chat with her. But he did notice a dwarf that stepped out of the Misty. He was wearing a full helm, with tusk as he has seen Bulrik wear previously before.
Bulrik's disposition was sadly uncaged. He started getting to close to Lana and started spitting on the others around him. Finally, Cythis had seen enough. Resting his scythe down against the wall of the Misty, he cracked his knuckles and hit him square in the throat, dropping him down.
"Now you are a good dwarf!" Cythis thought. Lana however was fuming and she then started kicking his drunk body and Bulrik only enticed her to do it harder. Lana using her magic, changed into a huge creature wrapped into armor and brought down a sword and started trying to sunder Bulrik in half.
"Lana hold!" Cythis commanded. Bulrik was at his last breath. Cythis, pulling the power from his goddess started slowly healing Bulrik to get him up atleast on his feet. "Now began you drunk dwarf, before you really get hurt!" Cythis said.
However, what happened next brought Cythis closer to amazement. Bulrik, once again started getting mouthy with Lana and grabbed his Battle axe and started waving it around Lana. Cythis knew he better act quickly or there would be someone dead very soon. "Bulrik.....!"
Cythis was blinded in a flash as Bulrik was engulfed in a tower of flames from the sky. Turning his head away to try and keep his own hair from catchign a blaze, Cythis ran up towards the Misty to avoid any splash damage.
"I smell burnt dwarf, and it doesn't smell good at all" Cythis mumbled.
