Divine Scribe Scroll: bug or what?

Hello there!
I played with a Favored Soul and I'm having problems with scribe scroll,
the problem is almost I cant craft scroll higer than level 3 spell.
Like this: I tried to scribe scrolls of Deathward, Freedom, Heal, Harm, Raise dead, Ressurection, Great Restoration, and many others.
I'm sure money wasnt a problem.
Is this meant to be or it is a bug? (maybe related with FS class?)
I already boght many Raise dead scrolls from crafter, so I found this really odd.
Is anybody have any information?

They are very expensive to make. Do you have enough money to scribe them? I assume you have the scribe scroll feat. Is there an error message?

That was going to be my question, since I haven't had time to test this. What does happen, anything?

I tested this. FS level 8 with plenty of money and scribe scroll feat. lvl 3 spells scribe just fine. tried both death ward and freedom of movement, and both came back with *Failure - item creation not successful!*
However, with the 'craft wand feat' the FS was able to craft those two spells into wands. ironically, the FS can not use them, because the class requirements for those wands do not include favored soul.
Tried the same two spells with a cleric, and they scribed just fine.

Hmm... that sounds more like an Obsidian bug than a Das bug. Have you tested it offline?

It's possible it's conflicting with something-or-other but we haven't changed Favored Soul at all. I haven't been able to find anything by searching relative to this bug though. Does it happen outside of Das in a local module?

when i tested it, it was not on Das, but in a local vault character building/testing module, so my guess would be it has nothing to do wtih das.

You could also ask friendly clerics to scribe scrolls for you. Hopefully those playing Favored Souls will read this topic before learning to scribe scrolls.

Wow, I was going to take that feat with my upcoming FS level... thanks for the heads up! That suck for those that have it though.

Hopefully I stop leveling this FS char, so I wont loose too many xp in replace Scribe Sroll feat.

Btw, I'm not very conversant with all forum stuff, so

If the bug is NWN2-related and not specific to Das, follow these instructions instead.

You can remove levels from your character at the Temple of Nuarari in Cear if you'd like to roll back to the level before you took Scribe Scroll.

A word of caution here. Be aware that your character loses experience during this process so you cannot immediately re-level them.
