Fan Fiction
*Hello everyone. Just like with my "1000 Ways to Die" Dasaria Edition, this wil be a place for ideas to be played with and expanded on. And I do realize that this does leave the technicality of being VERY open to some degrees so i'm going to lay down some ground rules for our creativity.*
- No genre cross overs.
(ex: Star Wars X Dasaria)
- Like in the normal posts and IC forums, be polite and ask your fellow player/PC if they could be used in your twis-err precious ideas.
- Keep related to Dasaria and its lore.
(We arent splitting the universe in half and no one is gonna discover how to get to space in even a few hundred years. Please be mindful of the time period and aspects of the game/era.)
- Have fun!
(Remember this is OOC and you could push pass the time period and present events of current Dasaria.
So let it out!)
- And finally...KEEP IT CLEAN!
(I'm all for romance and suggestive/mature themes, but be respectful to each other.)

Ever Onwards
By Domina and SiliasNorth
*The ruins of Lendose stand boldly among the hillside of the land. The end of Canas' war had brought much sadness to the land. It was a victory that came at a great cost to all and felt upon more than one plane.
The wind blew up brick dust in the dark of midday. Calimus and Celestia stood among the ruins of the old fort with heavy hearts.*
"Celestia…you keep visiting this place once a year. It's been fifty years."
*Calimus says lightly, his longer hair lose to his shoulders. The ears of this elven kind show proudly from behind the bandana he used to wear for so many decades. He stood tall and looked in his late twenties. The blood of this half elf had shown that time is truly a thing that progresses with out hinderance. His bow shows the age of time but kept with the perfection only an elven workmanship can ever do.*
"I know, dear. I cannot let it go…so many died and I can feel their melodies in my heart. They brought such a beautiful harmony to the land for their deeds. Though Evil always lingers, I will never forget them…I will not."
*Cel stands with a dress that is armored chest plate. Her long hair down to her lower back. Her gold eyes look over the ruins with sadness. She in her early thirties by human years and she looks younger still because of her divine blood. She looks around the ruins and then to Calimus who stands on a broken pillar looking about*
"We should hurry. You know what lingers here after the war and fall of this place. Do not forget that Mizalif lingers here with no soul."
*Cel nods and smiles warmly for a moment and walks over to Cal's pillar. He flips forward and lands with grace. He dusts off his tunic of the heavy wind's dust. He takes Cel's hand and helps her over a large stone and they continue down the ravaged road from Lendose. The walk back is quiet, but is not a silence of privacy. Their expressions and walk say volumes to each other in the quiet of the night.
They reach the Grand City of Cear. Grand Army Soldiers walked about as citizens continued along their day. The city looks more militarized, but organized in a fashion military and civilians work well enough. They return to the Cask and Cauldron shop, now owned by his great great grandson, Larson.*
"Good morning, Celestia! You are ravishing as always, milady. And welcome to you Calimus. Its been a few months since your last visit. How is travel?"
Larson speaks and sweeps around the table.
"Morning, sweetie. Things are wonderful and the road has been good to us. Many troubles we have seen, but we do what we can for those in need. I had met a priestess who would love to visit her someday." *Cel speaks kindly*
"Sounds rather pleasant, Miss Domina. What of you Calimus?" He speaks to him with the affection to a mentor.
"Things are about as well as can be, son. How has the shop been? You keeping tidy? I don't want to see any slacking around the corners now." Calimus speaks seriously, but with kindness to his blood.
"Aww com' on now. You know I will take care of the shop. You always say that you love this place like a child so I said I would buy this place and make you and Pa proud! Always got told I needed responsibility, right?"
*Celestia smiles warmly and puts a hand on Larson's shoulder*
"You will have a bright future. I teach for two months at a school in Raven Breach City so come by sometime in a few weeks. It will be a pleasant class and hopefully will inspire you."
*Calimus gives a hardy chuckle*
"Trying to get another one, Celestia? Let this one be, hard work will be his teacher and punisher!"
*Cel keeps her warm smile and comes next to Cal*
"So when you two going off again?" *sweep sweep*
"Well, son, we will be off in a day or so. You know I don't like keeping around too long here. It's just not the same anymore."
*Cel frowns and puts a hand on his shoulder gently. Cal looks to Cel and gives a slight of smile to comfort his partner.*
"Would like to visit her today, Calimus?" Cel speaks gently.
"I would not delay it any longer. I've missed her…"
"Okay, let us go to the 'hill' then."
*she takes his arm as he looks off in somewhat of a trance, being led by Celestia's careful guidance.*
They reach the hillside up out of Grand Cear where the goblins used to roam until they faced near extinction a few years back. The hillside has retained its beauty and natural essence, unchanged by the flow of time and the haze of war. They walk up arm in arm to the single TombStone with a green bandana wrapped around the base. It has worn in the past several years, but still withstands the test of time. The once legible words are scuffed by the wind sheer in the height and a single flower stands with resistance in front of the stone.
Cal lets his partner's arm go and kneels by the stone. He runs a hand on the cold stone that stands against the elements of life. His shoulders shake a bit as Cel stands behind him and holds her hands clenched together to her heart.
Calimus looks on the grave for a moment in dead silence. He needed only silence to speak his heart to Zo as he always had in the past. She never need to hear much from him to know how he felt. He smiles as a single tear falls. He strokes the stone's side as if Zo's cheek was to be there. Cel puts her arms around Cal's head behind as a tear falls to the ground.
They look on the stone of their friend and love…there is nothing in this time that could make them feel as they did so many years ago. The youth…the feeling of life they were perked with in a time of madness…

Re: Fan Fiction
Her hair was pulled into a single braid at the back, her skin turned warm golden by weeks of sun, and as she moved, the light cotton tunic and pants shifted, allowing cooler air to feather over her skin. She glanced behind her. The masculine figure trailing some distance back was moving in no apparent hurry; Shayde pulled out a battered old sketchbook with a soft smile, and sat down on a nearby rock, flicking through the numerous pages towards the very back, her fingers moving a gnomish writing stick across the page with a well practiced ease. Within moments the lines of the jagged mountain range and the skeletal bones of trees scattered across the valley manifested beneath her deft movements.
It was the driest place she had ever seen. Dust was in her eyes, her mouth, her nose; on the rare occasions when she finally got to wash her hair, the water ran deep vivid red for a few moments as she rubbed at her scalp, the dust turning first to a scarlet mud, then staining her skin as it ran over her in rivulets. She felt parched all the time here; no amount of water could slake her thirst, her skin felt papery, but the red of the soil was so rich, the vistas so breathtaking, that she was able to endure it, knowing it was only for a short while longer. They were headed for the tropics said to be north of the desert, and the deep ache to be surrounded by lush green foliage would have driven her to tears if she had had any moisture to spare. She bore it quietly.
A memory came to her, of many years past, the emerald green of the North Cear hills; an elf woman with a wise mind and a skilled hand: a dear friend.
They’d talked about travelling. Shayde had asked her usual barrage of questions; the elf woman had answered with patient thoughtfulness.
“Will you teach me to do that?” She’d asked, watching over her shoulder as the woman flicked through page after page of sketches of wild places, of unfamiliar creatures, of strange landscapes. The elf had handed her a sketchpad and a few sticks of charcoal, and nodded encouragingly at her.
That had been a few decades back, at least. Now, that first sketchbook was at home, on a shelf with a pile of others. This current book was nearly finished, her drawings more refined; though far from art, they were more of a record of her travels.
The picture was finished. He’d caught up with her, looking just as dusty as she was, his smile glinting brightly through the sun-darkened tints of his skin. Sitting down beside her, he'd waited until she was finished, then rose to stand in front of her. Packing away her sketching materials, she held up a hand to him to pull her up, and he obliged, chuckling. She returned his smile, then they both turned together, moving north along the valley as the sun began its descent.

Re: Fan Fiction
Blinded in Darkness
*Celestia wakes up and runs a hand through her long blond hair. The long black robes cling to her as a man's embrace to her this being. She walks to the mirror and opens her eyes…a golden gaze of pain and anger glares deeply.
Cel wanders to her extra large wardrobe and looks to a rather seductive and fitting gear in which she finds pleasure in taking. The black leather boots zip up slowly along a slender leg…a flicker of a scream in the background glides along the zipping sound of the tithe leather.
Her iron Bustier holds her fit form safely as the leather straps tighten to her back and her breast pronounce themselves. And finally a sword that looks as if it would rip steel into shreds just from being near. A black skirt that flows gently is risen past her legs with slow seductive precision.
The guards at her door wearing black armor nod to her as she pushes open two massive doors. The dining hall looks lively as people fight over food and slam mugs together with song, sex, seduction, and gluttony. When Cel presents herself in the room she glides over as each heel clicks on the clear floor. She picks a glass of wine from one of the people sitting at the table and continues on, the other beginning their rowdy bar like behavior in the massive hall. The chandelier holding flames like blood…
Cel makes her way to the meeting room and looks on a map of Dasaria…now split between three factions. The Grand Army, Canites, and her own…*
"Why did we not take 'Grand Cear's' docks yesterday…"
*She says coldly and monotone*
"Mistress Domina, My tro-"
"It was your men who failed?" *her monotone gains some pitch*
"Ye-GUUUAAA!!"
*His Half Orc blood splatters on a near by wall, and as his body falls, his body is clearly split from the shoulder down to his center.*
*The others in the all rustle for a moment and discuss to themselves as one comes forward. A single fairy.*
"M-m-mistress! We did take Talon Road and all appropriated areas a mile in the area. Raven Breech stands close and will fall within the month."
"This is wonderful!" *Her voice suddenly filled with cheer…then her expression turn back to anger…*
"But I wanted Raven Breech A WEEK AGO!" *she shouts with the gold piercing eyes, and the fay screams and slams his eyes shut…but he yet lives*
"What is the report on Morell."
*She sips her red wine as she takes a look at the dead H-orc.*
"M-m-m-m-mistress, we have taken all opposition and since you made base here, it has been open for many to come through to join. It is the perfect place to hold and has made enemy resistance easy to fight. The gangs have all agreed to join you and even recruit the Kalem along with other gangs in other cities."
"That is great news! Keep up the good work!" *she pecks the fay on the cheek and hops over to the map then shouts again*
"Now will someone please explain why the Lancers of Lendose not given into our demands?" *she asks in a gentle monotone…*
"They refuse and will stand to the end. Your orders mistress?" *An elven man speaks fluently.*
"Give. Me. Their. Fu*****. HEADS!!!"
*she screams out and slams a dagger in lendose*
*The elven man bows and takes Cel's hand to kiss gently. She curtsies and looks to the last…a Giant who looks a bit younger than most.*
"MISTRESS, WE HAVE HELD A FRONT AT CEAR FOR ALMOST TWO YEARS. THEY ARE CONSTANTLY SUPPLIED AND WE CANNOT FIND THEIR ROUTES AT THIS MOMENT. WE DESTROYED SEVERAL CARAVANS BUT THEY WERE FRONTS."
*Cel props up on the table and crosses her legs with a quick snap and cross. She leans back slightly and looks on the map…making mental notes quietly as her leather squeaking being the only noise while her finger and arm glide over the map. She looks at all of them and whips her head to the side to remove some hair and then speaks…*
"I will speak with Gorgan. He is the informant I have asked nicely to aid us. If his information is fraud then I will learn soon tonight. Manage what you need because the Church of Tyrak will make a move on us tomorrow night. Do you all understand?" *she looks with piercing hate and direction.*
*All* "Yes mistress"
"And Yivaver?" *She looks to the elf and he bows in response* "See me in my chamber tonight. I was pleased with your performance last week." *she smiles with unrestricted sexuality and licks her lips*
"Of course mistress. It will be a pleasure."
"Wonderful. Do not fail me…"
*She looks on the body on the ground and clears the room with swaying hips and the clacking of the heels on her boots…*

PART 2
*Cel makes her way outside into Morell and looks on the city that has now expanded. Thralls and servants make their way around carrying what it took to complete their day's objectives and quotas. Cel walks down the stairs as a wind bushes her hair aside. Those who pass her can't help but take in her sight with fear and some slight awe. Her gaze wanders for a moment to assess the work with satisfaction. She walks up to one of the thralls and claps to command the attention of those near by.*
"Remember, loves. If you slack and delay in anyways or break my little heart...
*She opens the chest of the thrall with a quick swipe of her sword*
...you'll pay dearly for our lost time. Have a nice day!"
*She winks and turns with a sharp slice to the left and makes her way to the gate as the others hurry in their work. They look to the spilled insides of the Thrall with rejuvenated motivation...*
*Cel makes her way towards the enslaved ferryman. She steps on the boat and makes her way down the river to meet this failing informant. She would fine her answers one way or another. The boat makes its way slowly to the coast where the river nearly ends and adjusts her leather boots in the meanwhile. She can't help but think about what happened a few years back that lead to all this...but before her mind goes into details, the boat shakes as it is beached. She nods to the ferryman and hops off. He ducks his head with nervousness while she goes off.
She looks around for Gorgan the informant in the meeting spot. It seems he was late...again. She sighs and leans with crossed legs and arms against a near by tree.*
"Old F*** must be growing senile and slow in his old age. Maybe as slow as his information as of late."
*Prisca, Cel's right hand, comes from the strip of forest behind Cel and looks up to Cel.*
"I found him hiding with a stupid spell. He must be getting bloody old. Do we need him? REALLY?"
*Prisca wears a black armor with leather straps. She wears a black flowing leather skirt knee high boots. and now in her teen age, she has seen and felt the pains Cel had...and followed her on the path. The Shard of Canas amplifying the growing darkness in the little woman's heart.*
"Where is the old fool."
"Right here of course. Would you expect any less of me?"
*She pulls Gorgen from behind a tree and throws him down in-front of Cel. Cel raises a brow to Gorgan and pulls him up by his neck collar*
"Why is all of your information outdated and wrong, sweetie?" *She asks with such disdain but with a sweet smile. Prisca kicks out his knee as he tries to stand.*
"I...I...I do not know! I only get what I hear from Pontis when I am near! Please you have to believe me! I am his right hand man but he does not tell me everything. If you kill me now, Pontis will know it was you and will have his group in question. Let me go back and get you more! Please Mistress!"
*Cel looks to Prisca witha raised brow and Prisca shakes her head. Cel looks on Gorgan and sighs*
"I will not let you go back. Better he has a migraine over his own legion rather than me sending s*** loads of troops to simply waste time and disrupt a few textile shipments..." Cel draws her sword.
"Mistress Celestia...allow me. I haven't killed an idiot this week."
*Prisca draws her sword and smirks at Gorgan with a hunger. Gorgen begins to crawl away as Cel throws him down. He shoots a fireball at Prisca but she slices through it and then stabs his leg. He shouts in pain and she then sits on his chest.*
"Thanks for playing with us, geezer!" Prisca pierces his chest with her blade and laughs lowly as he dies.
"Come Prisca, let us get back to Morell and have our pick of the men and wine. The stupidity of this old man has grown on me."
*They make their way back to Morell and wander into the dining hall together. Prisca looks to a young lad with a smirk and grabs a glass of wine as she sits next to him. the boy clearly nervous.
Cel makes her way to her chamber and looks as Yivaver, her elven council, stands there with some papers.*
"Mistress I have some more ne--"
"We can discuss the news later. I want to play a little before more work..."
*she smiles seductively as she pulls him in the room by his collar*

The night is far spent, the day is at hand;
Let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us wear the armor of light.

Re: Fan Fiction
She’d stepped into the Temple in Morell quietly as ever, her hundred and three years of life hardly apparent in her light steps and slim figure, the only telling signs a couple of lines around her eyes. Dressed in a soft green woollen gown, a thick cloak in the same colour draped across her shoulders, she carried a posy of wildflowers, which she placed at the foot of the statue: the Lady elegantly frozen in stone.
She whispered, her voice no louder than a breath.
“Hello Sam. I haven’t been to visit you in some time...I’ve been away, travelling again. I can't seem to stay in one place for long anymore, after sixty years of restlessness. The things I have seen...I wished many times you were still here for me to tell you about them...the songs you could make from my stories...the closest I have now to your song is Reina, and she is doing well for herself, still, as you predicted.”
She knelt, quietly.
“I know the Lady doesn’t mind me coming in here to talk to you. Its just that you wouldn’t let yourself be buried somewhere we could visit you. This is the only place I know you’d be able to hear me for certain.”
“They still sing about you, Sam. The Man Who Loved. The Man Who Was Love. Teshalia’s Hand. Teshalia’s Heart. Teshalia’s Favoured. Teshalia’s Blessed. They have so many names for you. It makes my heart swell to hear it. Your descendents have the flavour of you about them, but there’s nobody like you, Sam. There was never, before, and there won’t be, ever again. Your great great grandson is the spitting image of you; it’s very unnerving when he looks right at me...a woman of a hundred and three going weak at the knees at the startling green gaze of a twenty-something year old. He knows only that I knew you, and he certainly knows nothing about the state of my knees. He knows not that I loved you.”
A soft smile spread across her face.
“That I love you. But you already know that. We've talked of it many a time.”
A tear welled up in her eye, slipping quietly down her cheek. “I’ve always said, once Sammil Card has found his way to your heart, he never leaves it. I miss you Sam. I’ll miss you for the whole of my life. You already know that, too.”
She fell silent a moment, then soft laughter floated from her lips.
“I can almost hear you, that note of mischief in your voice, telling me that you aren’t surprised I miss you. That of course I miss you, because you are Threecard, and it can't be helped.”
She rose slowly to her feet, murmuring a blessing to the statue, then turned to leave. Halfway back toward the door, she stopped, turned slowly, looking up at the statue over her shoulder, and winked.
“See you next year, Sam.”
As she turned to go, she could have sworn she saw the statue wink back at her, the hint of a mischievous grin on its face.
She whispered, her voice no louder than a breath.

Re: Fan Fiction
Miracle
On a hill not far from Two Bridges stood a bench, ... a white-clad woman sitting on it. Her head was partially covered by a hood, but one close enough, would be able to perceive a few white tresses reaching from under it and touching her cheek.
The observer would also be able to conclude this woman was plunged in thought, but wouldn’t be able to read her mind.
Six years... today, I still can’t believe it, the woman smiled softly, her eyes still focused on an non-existing point.
So beautiful and so special. Would my past have looked like this for me too if...? At least nothing will happen now. Another smile.
Suddenly two hands coming from behind covered her eyes, followed by a whisper,” Guess who...”
The woman’s smile widened after her eyes blinked under the familiar hands.
“Hmm, let me think. Someone with long white hair.”
A giggle...
“Someone who is rather fearless.”
Another giggle...
“Someone who lives with me.”
“Warm...”
The white-clad woman on the bench continued with a warm voice. “Someone who I really love.”
Suddenly two little arms were wrapped around the woman’s neck, her hood meanwhile falling off, revealing long white hair.
A soft kiss was pressed on her cheek followed by another soft giggle.
“Love you too, mom.”
Elvina turned her head to face the little white-haired miracle hanging around her neck.
“Are you ready with swimming and sneaking around, Celia?”
A pair of small white-grey eyes looked back at her and a cute little smile was casted in her direction.
“Yea, thanks mom.”
Elvina wrapped her arms around the girl and lifted her from the ground.
“Then let’s go home and see if your other surprise is ready.”
Celia rolled with her eyes,” Apple pie?”
Elvina giggled,” Something like that, … I hope.”
Both giggled.
Despite the fact Elvina was half way between fourty and fifty, she still looked as if in her early thirties. She also didn’t feel this old.
With the white-haired child in her arms, Elvina started to walk... and not much later they both saw yellow and white flowering azaleas, green ferns and purple acers bordering a path leading towards a cozy looking house up the hill.
The front door was open and someone had been clearly waiting for their return...

Re: Fan Fiction
*This is a repeat of another post, I just thought it more belonged here....though it is a very possible future for the characters mentioned*
***
The wind threw the rain against the side of the house with bitter contempt, and it lashed the deeply hooded figures with cold wet to the bone. As the lighting spread its greedy fingers, weaving them in and out of the night clouds, one could see the one figure was hunched over and moved slowly and carefully through the soaked muck of the yard leading up to the heavily framed front door of the old farmhouse. Accompanying the bent figure was a younger one, back straight against the weather’s bite. He steadied the old man as they crossed to the doorway, the rain falling from him unnoticed.
The whip of the driver cracked, and the horse and carriage that had brought the two men to this place on a night such as this rolled on through the mud, seeking its own home of dry warmth. One window in the home was lit by candlelight, its chaotic flicker bade welcome to those who would cross this threshold. In the darkness, neither could see the gardens of bright flowers that decorated the home, kept in neat rows and thirstily drinking in the tears of Ki.
A rapping on the door brought the mistress of the house. Though not old in appearance, she has silvery white hair past her shoulders. She dressed in a smock of simple elegance, and the home smelled of gingerbread and tea through the open door. She looked upon the ragged old man and his counterpart with a quiet softness.
“Come in, Sirs, out of the rain. How did you get caught in this?” She huddled them inside, where they stood dripping across her carpets.
“We seek an old friend,” croaked the old man, his voice like crushed gravel. “And it seems we have found her”.
The woman looked at the raggedy man with emerald green eyes that flickered with silver in the candlelight much as they had nearly 40 years before. She turned her concern to the younger man, whose cloak she could now see was stitched with a golden Falcon. He considered her only a moment longer, then removed his hood, revealing a now grown face she had not seen in many years, but one she had never forgotten.
The young man hung his cloak on one of the black iron hooks by the door of the cottage, and slid his soaked boots from his feet. He looked at the old man, and then back to the woman smiling.
“If it’s all the same to you, I’ll fetch tea.” He placed a hard hand on hers – one used to the sword - his smile reaching up to his eyes. She could do little but stand there, mouth agape, as he took his all too familiar position in the little kitchen, moving the kettle to the hob.
She spoke, a confused look across her face, “Jack? I don’t understand….what’s all...?” Her eyes fell back to crooked old man and his dripping hood. “Let me at least help you with your thi….”
Even as she reached for his rain-drenched pack, the old man’s hand caught hers. It was gnarled and arthritic with the ravages of time and use.
“Let’s not fret too much about the pack, Mae…..”
The old man’s green eyes lifted to meet hers, and though the light had diminished, and pain had run its miles upon them, it was clear that love had as well and there was no mistaking them to the white haired beauty.
“You still owe me a dance….”

Re: Fan Fiction
(This is a future piece that has no place in the current story, so here it is!)
Shayde gestured for him to drop down behind her. She smiled to herself; without a sound, he’d laid himself prone, arrow cocked and ready. The doe raised its head, sniffed the air. Wait, she signalled...then...Now... She turned to glance at him as she realised no arrow had flown.
He lay there, bow now placed on the ground, his eyes closed and a humming sound that seemed to echo the cadence of the breeze, emanating from him. She dropped to her knees, alarmed, and scrambled to his side.
“Lute?”
He vaguely made the signal for “safe” before his hand dropped to his side once more. Her heart racing, Shayde’s gaze fixed on her son, watching intently for any sign of danger. Comprehension could come later. His dark reddish hair pulled lightly back behind him, dead straight as her own, framed the tanned, freckled face bearing her own silvery blue eyes and the barest hint of pointed ears. She heard nothing but the musical humming and her own heart pounding a tattoo of fear as she watched.
What felt like hours passed, though later she realised it was seconds. His eyes opened, and he smiled at her, calmly, serenely, then made a “shh” gesture and pointed to the doe. A slight rustling to the left of them and a spindly legged fawn with white markings on its legs stumbled awkwardly toward its mother. Shayde’s whole body relaxed, and she turned a warm, but quizzical smile on her son. He smiled mischievously, the expression transforming his face entirely into his father’s for a moment, and made the signal for “wait”. Her heart leapt at the sight, but she gave him only a reproachful glance which caused his grin to widen, then turned her back on him, setting herself down beside him to watch the creatures.
Later, as Luth’ien was cleaning the fish they’d caught in the river, she turned to him.
“What was it you were doing there, today, with the doe?”
He pretended not to hear her at first – an old dance between them – but he knew her stubbornness was greater than his own.
“Singing. Listening.”
She sighed softly at the short, adolescent response. “Luth’ien...”
He cleaned the last of the fish, washed his hands and his blade, then settled down beside the fire, absorbed apparently in the cooking.
Then, finally “I listen to the wind, and it tells me what is around us. I can...track...that way.”
Shayde considered quietly a moment. “What was that humming, Lute...was that part of it?” Her tone was careful; Luth’ien was by nature rather private, and he could be skittish with things like this. She held her breath silently.
“Yes, I suppose...you’d call it singing. I can sing the wind. I can...talk with it, listen to it.”
Her mind raced. How to do this carefully...but her fear was allayed as she watched him. He looked at her across the fire, and seemed to make a decision.
“I’ve been doing it since I was very small. Remember when you'd call me, and I wouldn't respond, even when you were right beside me? I was listening to the sounds of the wind." He grinned at her again. "Well, most of the time I was. Anyway. One day, I was out in the forest by myself, just humming...singing a little here and there...and I started to...sense what was around me. The trees and the plants have a sound to them, a soft, rustling sound, but animals have a different tone. Its...” He trailed off, gesturing with his hand. “It’s a deeper tone. Fuller. Different animals have different sounds. And all of these sounds travel on the wind. All around us.”
She drew her knees up and wrapped her arms around them, watching him quietly. He did not look up as he continued.
“So once I realised what it was I was hearing, I started to try to imitate the sounds.” He laughed, looking up to her for a moment, his expression unguarded for once. “Very hard. I was terrible.”
She smiled warmly, her heart in her throat, pride and love and awe mingling as she listened to him.
“So many times I thought I was being foolish. I gave up over and over...sometimes for months at a time. Then a warm breeze would blow, and I was drawn to it again. Finally, I began to learn how to listen and how to answer it. When I send out a sound, the wind will bend around me, filtering all the things near me into a series of sounds.”
His face took on a new light, one of faith and excitement.
“Its like music, Mama. No. It is music. The most beautiful music I’ve ever heard. I wish you could hear it.”
Shayde watched him for some time, quietly digesting his words. Luth’ien knew that about his mother; sometimes she would vanish into herself while she worked something out, and he knew to wait patiently, and so the fish was cooked and served before she finally turned to him, her eyes full of her heart, and whispered.
“My son, the Wind-Singer.”
He smiled.

“This is the place.” The foreign group of travelers halted on one of the slab rock cliffs just outside of I'winya-thond. Three elves were leading a small group of middle-aged half-elves along Iryrod’s quiet shores. “This will do just fine.., let’s set up camp and rest here for the night.” The oldest elf spoke to the two younger ones. “Arveldir, help Naquthq'a first. Crystal, can you assist Vier'vi?” The two younger elves nodded and dutifully sided themselves with the two mentioned women to help them take down their gear. The older elf himself walked over to two male half-elves. “Eilithe'Na,” he said to the smaller one of the two. “You go first, but please help me with Baor, mm? His pack is twice the weight of the others.” The half-elf nodded his response. “Of course, father.”
As the older elf helped the rosey-blonde half-elf with his pack, a soft singsong voice behind them sounded. “Why are we stopping here?” Two pairs of silver eyes met as the youngest of the two half-elven women inquired. “What’s special about this place, dad?” The addressed one mused a moment as he took in the features of the woman. This playful, lively child; she was Vier’vi and she reminded him so of her mother. The same smile, the same hair, the same dance in her step; even in the autumn of her years.
A gruff voice came from the side. “Aye, ‘daion, wot we stoppin’ ‘ere for?” Baor’s hulking, tall figure cast a big shadow over the rocks in the setting sun. The accidental son who’d never met his father until his mother’s untimely death. It had taken them so many years to catch up for lost time but in the end Baor had been forgiving. And now here too, he was. Such was the miracle of life and the beauty of forgiveness.
“We’re stopping here.., because this is where the skies are clearest. In all the world, there is no sky clearer than here and tonight you will see more stars than you had ever imagined. More stars than you can count.” Ardaion spoke quietly as he looked up at the skies wistfully. His tired, weary eyes searched for that one star he’d longed for the entire time they had spent traveling from Dasaria to here. But it was still too light; she wasn’t here yet.
“So what’s going to happen then tonight, father? Are you sure you want to do this? And how are you going to do this?” Ardaion lowered his gaze, returning to this present with some reluctance. Eilithe’na had walked over to his sister Naquthq’a who looked at her father thoughtfully. “Quietly,” Ardaion answered. “And in peace..” She smiled as she recognised the familiar dry sound of humor in her father’s response. She shook her head and looked down; half disappointed, half amused. “That’s not-.., You know what I mean.” The look she gave him made him chuckle. Yes, he knew. It was like looking in a mirror; even the way she spoke likened to his own way of speaking. Only the accents were different. So yes, he knew exactly what she wanted to hear but he wasn’t going to give her that answer. This maiden who remained unwedded throughout her life, who bore him no grandchildren but who had given him so much pride regardless by following his footsteps into the Brotherhood of Rhauth. He knew that she knew already. They exchanged a knowing look and all was right.
They were all here. Six children born from three mothers. Crystal and Arveldir; Thirianna’s children. Eilithe’na, Naquthq’a, Vier’vi, the son and two daughters Quinn had given him. He smiled as he remembered how Quinn had insisted they’d give them Iryrodian names. She had never really been able to pronounce their names correctly and it would have been so much easier to use their human names; Warden, Luna and River. But she had insisted. And then there was Baor; Leavinia’s son. Each one of them reminded him of how their mothers, the women he once knew, had been a part of his life. They had made his life so much more worth living.
Crystal and Arveldir had grown up to be two beautiful, gracious elves, with their tanned skins and fair complexions. She was a blonde, he had hair of the purest black. Both had his ears but Thirianna’s eyes. They were pure blood Iryrodians and they would find their ways on this island without problems. Ardaion had no worries for them. Thirianna had done well; she had taught them the patience of their kind. Their kindness towards their half-brothers and sisters was admirable; they’d promised to take care of them long after their father would be gone.
Looking up again, he recognised that his moment was slowly but surely approaching. Nuarari had begun her rise from her slumber in Rhauth’s embrace. Had he wanted it he could’ve lived on but he was tired. The pain of seeing his friends and family depart one by one had become a neverending ache and now that the end of the years of half his children were approaching too, the four centuries old elf couldn’t live the thought of losing them like he had lost so many before. No.., his immortality in trade for a return to his true love’s embrace. A return to how they once were; like Nuarari and Rhauth forever more. She was waiting.
They all would be waiting. Garet and Reina, Sam, Tharwulf and Sigrid. Perhaps even Darion and Lea. Just a few names amongst the many he had missed so dearly. He desired to be reunited with them once more. As he looked over the faces of his children around him he considered their loyalty to him. Despite the father he had been none of them had doubted a moment when he’d asked them to come to Iryrod with him.. When he’d explained to them why he was taking them to Iryrod it had caused some turmoil, but in the end they’d come to accept it his reasons. They’d left their own families to accompany this old man on one last trip to his homeland. He was grateful.
Midnight, that was going to be the time. They would hopefully all be asleep so he could just sneak out in the same manner he’d always prefered to live his life; quietly and without too much fuss. And when they’d wake up they’d find the gifts he’d prepared. He would give them the painting Quinn created so many years ago; of the owl, the seagull and the whale. Because he hoped that River, Luna and Warden would be able to look at it and draw comfort from the knowledge that their parents were alright. He would leave them the address to the mansion back out on the mores where he grew up as a child; maybe they could find more descendants of the Aeramin bloodline. Especially Arveldir and Crystal had always wanted to know. He’d prepared a collection of all memories that had kept him company through the long years with the help of his old, dearest friend Shayde. Together they had taken time to pen it all down and he had enjoyed looking back over the fun, the antics, but also the heartaches they’d shared. Shayde, grey dove, precious lady. She’d been surprised to hear of his decision but she had understood. One last favour she’d asked for; go find Sam. Of course he complied; he kept the message she gave him close to his heart.

Time is running out! - Part 1
(((This post is nothing to do with what is happening with Thirianna but this is how i would see her going out. This will be in two parts since I'm finding it really hard to write it)))
The years of the war against the great evil Canas have really caused it's damage to the whole of dasaria. The chaos the was once becoming weaker had now only grown stronger as it's forces pushed against any army that stood in its way. As the lands burned and perished under its iron boot the hope for victory was soon vastly fading away for dasaria and Thirianna saw this coming. The constant nightmares followed by the dreaded visions of the world she walked destroyed with the body's of the ones who stood there ground. There had to be a way where the people of dasaria could live in a safe peaceful place where evil could no longer touch.
Thirianna looked towards her two adorable children that she was given by Ardaion with her bright but deep blue eyes. Crystal was the spitting image of herself but carried both the characteristics of Ardaion and herself, Arveldir was again the exact same as Ardaion but he had grown to become the most caring and polite gentleman that she could ever ask for. Both of them have worked to become what they were today but Thirianna knew that if something wasn't done the chaos will kill them too. After the two of them said there good nights to her and praying to there own god in there rooms Thirianna took the chance and wondered her way just outside of Ravenswatch.
The night sky glowed above the world like a blanket over a child in bed, the colours were that of a something worry to her. The vibrant glow of the mind night blue sky wasn't the reason but the chaotic faint orange glow coming from the hills within the distance worried her. Knowing that what she was about to do would save millions but at the time risking her own life scared her enough to make her feel cold. The great memory's she had in the past were strong within her bit this was something more however there was no time to stall. With every passing day the chaos that Canas left in his trail grew stronger every day. Holding the necklace that was once her best friends who was killed by the very creature she hated she shouted out a call.
"Demon!, come on out, I have a deal for you"
Moments passed as time was being wasted but yet nothing called back to her that was until she tightened the grip of her small hands around the necklace. The voice of a deep and fire bound creature struck her ears with the heat within its breath, startling Thirianna at first but knowing that this was the right thing to do she stood her ground.
"A deal?, I'm listening 'elf'"
She could hear the creature take every breath of air as if it was standing right next to her. On top if that the heat that it was giving off was more than enough to kill a few of the plants around her. Thirianna griped the necklace closer towards herself and tighter as the voice of the creature filled her ears. She knew that this was going to be a gamble and that she had a back up plan if this didn't work.
“Demon, I have a deal for you, I wish for you to grant me the strength to open a portal to a place where evil can not touch.”
A rather demonic grunt rang through her elven ears like some loud noise but that was soon followed with the sound of thinking.
“Hmmm, and what do I get in return 'elf'?.”
“Bechareth, Ardaion, please, forgive me”
Those words filled Thirianna with nothing but pain knowing that the offer she had was one that was going to end forever.
“Demon, In return, I give you my own soul, life and body to use at your own will.”
“That is a fine offer that you give, you are of no use to me”
Thirianna even though she couldn't see the demon something of a feeling was giving to her that he was smirking behind her back. This was nothing to her as she knew what she had to do to save everyone as possible in dasaria.
“And as for your meaning, it is the most pathetic reason ever, HA, but please, thanks for the laughter. I needed that”
Before she could even say anything the sound of flames being extinguish and the fiery heat vanished along with it. This wasn't how she wanted it to play out as a few tears fell down her face just by thinking on it. The past couple of years she had spent day in and day out working on a spell that could create some kind of portal towards a realm that evil can not touch. Eventually it was successful as the test began but there was a huge price for using that kind of power. Thirianna had no choice in this matter as this was not just for the twins sake but for the whole of dasaria's people.

Re: Fan Fiction
Canas X Celestia
The heroes have finally done it! They breached the plane where the sanctum of Canas lurks! The others are injured and Celestia is left alone to peek ahead. She ignores the others and runs into Canas' chamber. He looks to her with deep hateful eyes that could pierce the very plane they lurk on.
They both stare at each other with such passionate dislike, but then suddenly Celestia throws her sword and shield aside and falls on her knees.
Her big eyes look deeply on him and she whispers...
"Cana-kun..."
*His eyes narrow and he throws his staff aside. He shouts at her. His pale skin and bald head shine gently compared to the dark black robes*
"I've waited for you! You don't know how long i've waited for this moment! HOW COULD YOU!
*Cel cries out*
"I'm sorry! I spent so long slaughtering all your generals just to find away to you! How could you hide from me!"
*Canas walks two steps forward*
"Celestia-chan..."
*Cel shakes her head*
"I've worked so hard and have been so washed to hate you that...that I suddenly realized that I LOVE YOU!"
*His eyes widen*
"C-Celes--"
*She shouts louder*
"How could you make me wait for you for so long! Why don't you see that everything I did was because I LOVE YOU!"
*he slams his chalice on the ground...the wine spilling from it*
"SILENCE! How dare you! I have loved you more than you can ever imagine! When you carried my spear...you carried my HEART. These words you wish me to say..they wound me!"
*Cel begs and falls to her hands*
"SAY IT! I need to hear it! PLEASE!"
*He looks away sharply with shame*
"Maiden..."
"SAY IT!!!"
.
...
.....
.......
I LOVE YOU, CELESTIA!!!
*Canas shouts and runs to Celestia. She gets up and runs into his arms and they embrace*
Cana-kun! You've all ive ever really wanted! All i've ever needed!
Celestia-chan...you're my world. You're the one i've killed so much to find. YOU are what i've been looking for! You are my future and past and present!
I love you! *she shouts*
My Queen! *he shouts back and grips her tightly*
*and so...the war was ended. Canas and Celestia lived happily ever after on a private island and every one was left to their business. There no sign of the pair ever again and only the gods truly know what ever ended up happening to them...*

The night is far spent, the day is at hand;
Let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us wear the armor of light.

Let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us wear the armor of light.
