*Cel sits at the bar and fiddles with a glass of cider as she wonders on some things, speaking to a random patron next to her*
"Do you have a family, sir?" she asks the patron
"They all be passed from the war, lady. Been near'y four years since their passing if you believe such."
"If I may...how many were in the family?" cel asks softly
"There were two daughters and my wife..." he takes a deep drink as cel looks away
"I...am sorry for your lost, sir."
"No need. I have mourned enough and now I live to honor them. Tis all. Do you have a husband and children, young lady."
*She crosses her legs up on the bar stool and holds the drink in her lap*
"I um...I don't think i'm ready for children of my own and even if I were to be come a mother I think this is a dangerous time for young ones. I mean no offense, but I think if I even became pregnant I would be come rather fearful."
"Not all women are ready for children for the managing of a new life, but most parents never are I believe."
"I think I would wait till this war is over before such. Maybe i'll change my mind and it will end up so."
"Think not so heavy of it, lady. Watching others become mothers make a woman wonder and crave the ideals of what it would be like. Same for marriages. Some women watch it happen and then some are soon there to follow."
"I suppose so. It just comes to mind on occasion, maybe as you said, after hearing of children being born."
"Be merry then, lady, your time will come when it is proper. When I met my wife it was in a barn tending a horse."
"That sounds not so romantic." she giggles
"Romance is for the birds. Love strikes when it does and holds fast. So wear a guard, lady."
*Cel laughs and enjoys her cider as they continue to chat for the evening*

The night is far spent, the day is at hand;
Let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us wear the armor of light.
