Preparedness

Thanos looked over his work and grinned, hundreds of spells glowed and hummed on the floor of his new home in Ravenswatch.

"This should take care of anything that should decide that my home is a good target."

He looked over the floor plans and began checking off the hundreds of delayed blast fireballs that swarmed the floors of his home. They would need refreshing and concealing he knew but what better security could one have than insuring that absolutely everything was turned into ash on the event of intrusion. He looked out at the thousands of books in the stacks.

"It will be a shame to lose them, maybe once I am less tired I will find some way of fireproofing them."

He slowly made his way to his small bad and wrapped himself completely in the flameproof blanket he had spent so much money on.

"Blasted merchants."

Before he slept he checked off everything in his head beginning with the fireballs and ending with the containment seal outside.

"The seal!"

He jumped out of bed and snatched up a rune inscribed stone from his desk along with a hammer. He made his way through the stacks quickly and tossed open the front door. He looked down to see the open hole in a ring of stones that surrounded his home. He placed the stone in the hole carefully before bringing the hammer up and slamming it along with the stone home.

"*exhale* Well that's done. That could have been rather bad, imagine the damage."

Thanos now done with his tasks wandered back into his home to get some much deserved rest.
