Skilled and Unskilled Labourers Required

On the heels of an unrelated notice, comes yet another request for labourers in Lendose. This notice has been distributed widely within the northern and western parts of the province.

The Vanguard, so regimented by his Highness Princeps Siril as the Fourth Eastern Regimented, seeks skilled and unskilled labourers for the repair and refurbishment of its chapterhouse in Lendose. Pay shall be as follows:

• Foreman: 200 crowns per day
• Quartermaster: 100 crowns per day
• Carpenters, Masons, Slaters:
  • Masters: 120 crowns per day
  • Journeymen: 75 crowns per day
  • Apprentices: 25 crowns per day
• Unskilled Labourers: 10 crowns per day

Armed escort shall be provided for workers traversing dangerous lands. See local recruiters for more information. Additional mercenary work is not required for this project; martial practitioners wishing to aid in the fight against Canas are recommended to seek out the golden hawk circular for recruitment into the Vanguard.

I am aware that your trying to fix up your newly purchased guild house and have a proposal for you. If your guild would help me in the safe transportation of goods, from Ravenswatch I will in return give you materials and workers to help fix up your new home. To the Vanguard

Thank you so much for your help in getting supplies from Ravenswatch. As a result work on the mining elevators has begun immediately. I have also sent workers to help in the clean up of your chapter-house and to assess the damage for future repairs.

Assessments are still being made, but I have noticed the building once had wood flooring, which would require more materials from outside of Lendose. I would strongly suggest rock and tile as this is something that should soon be in abundance. I can get you in touch with an architect who could show you all manner of means for heating and cooling and has expressed that rock is ideal for maintaining temperatures in much the same way as bath houses.

I hope that we can do future business together, with more materials needing safe passage, as well as future projects to aid Lendose that are ideal for the Vanguards military strengths.
