Scroll Spell Level Mistake?

So bigspy interposing hand is considered a LEVEL 5 spell, ya? So I get enough UMD to be able to use the LEVEL 5 stuff, which is 21 in the minimum. But the scroll still comes up red in my items. The way to make it work is to buff more so I have LEVEL 6 UMD. Which is one level over the supposed requirement. Is this a random issue?

I don't have much experience with UMD regarding scrolls, but it's probably how it works (i.e. not random), because there are many restricted items which DC is technically 10, but need you to have 11 ranks in order for to use them. So I imagine it's the same for scrolls and not a random bug.

Have you checked with 22 UMD (not 23)?

With the UMD skill the scroll should have become "useable" even if I were to fail/pass the roll when casting it. Ill check with 22.
